00:00I don't know, did we decide already which stage is the Queen's stage?
00:08I think tomorrow can be the one.
00:11We stayed there for about two weeks, so we did a recon of the stage of course.
00:16We knew that it was going to be a key moment in the Tour de France.
00:21Every opportunity that somebody of the GC wants to take, that he can take, he should
00:26take.
00:30I have an advantage of three minutes and eleven seconds, so let's keep it that way and let's
00:36see tomorrow if we keep the same gap.
00:45I still think there's a chance, yes.
00:47Of course I have to fight all the way, but I will also fight everything I can and I never
00:52give up.
00:58Short stage, so it might be quite some fireworks.
01:07I really like Col de la Bonette, it's a really nice climb and I'm looking forward to race
01:12there.
01:32Back to the high mountains and there's no messing around on stage 19.
01:36Three huge climbs, all to above 2,000 metres, including the Tour's highest point on the
01:41Cime de la Bonette.
01:51There's a good group there, about 20 riders, but it's not over.
02:00After the usual early attacks, Carapaz managed to get himself to the front of the race, as
02:05did Simon Yates.
02:09Louis Mainckes, on the other hand, was brought back by the peloton, being led by UAE Team
02:13Emirates.
02:15In the end, nine riders went clear, with two of Vingegaard's team-mates, Jorgensen and
02:20Kelderman, and one of Evenepoel's team-mates, Van Wilder.
02:23Pogacar's rivals are placing their pawns, as UAE decided to give the breakaway a little
02:29more freedom.
02:58Nine became six on the early slopes of the Bonette, as only Van Wilder and Prodom were
03:03dropped from the breakaway.
03:05The others are still led by around four minutes, but would that be enough to go for the stage
03:09honours?
03:10UAE still controlling, and no doubt planning something for the final climb.
03:15With the
03:36mountains points doubled at the Tour's highest summit, Carapaz then became the virtual king
03:41of the mountains.
04:04The six leaders still had four minutes in hand as they approached the final climb.
04:08Kelderman, Jorgensen, Carapaz, Hindley, Simon Yates and Cristian Rodriguez hoping to resist
04:14the inevitable attacks from behind.
04:38Carapaz and Yates have to try and respond.
04:41Kelderman tries to go with them, but Jorgensen now fires at 13.4 kilometres to go.
04:49Yates, Almeida, Pogacar, Remco Evenepoel, Jonas Vengergaard, who I think is rocking
04:55and rolling a lot.
04:57And here is the attack of Pogacar.
05:01Pogacar decides to strike.
05:03The scintillating speed of the superstar Slovenian is too hot to handle.
05:09He goes away, 8.6 kilometres to go.
05:13And Remco Evenepoel is unable to go with this move, neither is Jonas Vengergaard.
05:19There is no plan.
05:20The plan is to try and secure top three in this year's Tour.
05:24So he catches Richard Carapaz, a stage winner and a yellow jersey in this year's race.
05:30And Pogacar goes past Carapaz and says goodbye.
05:34You can do it, you can do it.
05:38It's looking extremely difficult there for Jorgensen.
05:40Not impossible, but looking difficult.
05:4216 seconds behind Pogacar, who has overtaken Simon Yates.
05:48And Yates, he cracks as well.
05:50He stayed on the wheel, he overlapped the wheel and then that was it.
05:53Game over.
05:54Red zone, explosion.
05:56Pogacar, now his next victim, is the American Matteo Jorgensen.
06:02At less than two kilometres from the finish line, the yellow jersey is melting on Matteo Jorgensen.
06:08Carqui re-accelerates and drops Jorgensen.
06:12Pogacar, all alone in the lead.
06:19Tadej Pogacar makes his way towards the line.
06:22The crowd urge him there.
06:27Here at Isola 2000, they get ready to greet a great champion.
06:33The yellow jersey has ridden all the way across the mountains.
06:38Here at Isola 2000, it is a triumph for Tadej Pogacar.
06:45Four stage wins in the Tour de France and a total obliteration.
06:50Take a bow.
06:57A bow to Matteo and all the breakaway guys.
07:01Their main goal today was to take the stage, but I take that.
07:10With four stages compared to last year, I had two.
07:13So now I can say every year is average three stage wins per Tour.
07:18So it's pretty crazy and I'm so happy.
07:22Pogacar with yet another demonstration on this Tour.
07:25His fourth win of the race and the 15th in total.
07:28The Slovenian is absolutely unstoppable.
07:31His lead is now up to more than five minutes on Fingegaard.
07:34And you suspect it will only get bigger between now and Nice.
07:40No change at the top of the podium.
07:42Tadej Pogacar is in the lead.
07:44The yellow jersey is melting on Matteo Jorgensen.
07:47Carqui re-accelerates and drops Jorgensen.
07:51No change at the top of the points classification,
07:53with Bini Mkirmae still 33 points clear of Jasper Philipsen.
08:00But we do have a new king of the mountains.
08:02Carapaz took a massive 64 points today and now leads Pogacar by 14.
08:10And finally, Evan Apoel has increased his lead in the youth standings
08:13to over ten and a half minutes.
08:21Hey, proud of you.
08:23You give everything that's possible.
08:25Really?
08:26Yeah.
08:29Great, I'm proud of you.
