00:00:42they stand, looking out the window, sound and well, in some new disguise. This secret
00:00:49must be told to the world, and they must tell it, because they're not dead. I know this,
00:00:57and I'll prove it.
00:01:04My proof of their existence took place in this old apartment building in the historic
00:01:08shipyard town of Trenton, Michigan about five years ago. Every night at 3am I was woken
00:01:14out of a dead sleep by a woman calling my name, and a short time thereafter I saw this
00:01:19woman floating before me. While filming I ran into the maintenance guy who was coincidentally
00:01:25renovating my old apartment. No matter how much you know something is true from a personal
00:01:32experience, no one will ever believe in your story unless they were there also and seeing
00:01:40it with their own two eyes. I was to set out on a three week ghost hunting expedition to
00:01:47gather video evidence in attempts to prove my claim. We traveled within the historic
00:01:54mining towns of Nevada, which had reports of documented hauntings. And they were convinced
00:01:59that the house was in fact haunted. We were told that the house was haunted, and that

00:03:37A first stop was the Silver Queen Hotel, haunted by a prostitute who killed herself in room 11.

00:03:4735 years, enjoying all the history and of course enjoying working here at the Silver Queen.
00:03:53At the Silver Queen, we do have a very friendly female guest.

00:04:08She was very distraught and did away with herself, and she roams the whole area all the time.
00:04:16We do not visually see her all the time, but you can feel her sometimes in the room, sometimes here.
00:04:24But she's very friendly, and she just, she hasn't found her place to rest yet.
00:04:30It's kind of funny what people will say on the phone and in person when they're on camera.
00:04:36I talked to her last week, and she told me specifically on the phone what happened in room 11.
00:04:42And the ghost that she was talking about on the interview, that was the prostitute that did stay in room 11 that slit her wrist.
00:04:49When me and Erin walked back in there, you could see that she was briefly talking about that.
00:04:54But I don't know if she wanted to talk about that with the other historians sitting there.
00:04:58If that's information she wanted to reveal to us, but she did, without a doubt, you know,
00:05:05tell me that that prostitute did commit suicide, slit her wrist, in room number 11.
00:05:10And that's the reason why we booked that room over any other room here.

00:10:31And I would start talking about the sheriff and how he killed people or didn't like him.
00:10:34He tortured him or whatever, you know, in the 18, 1900s.
00:10:38And every time I talked about him, cigar smoke would follow me around my clothing.
00:10:44I mean, you could see it and you could smell it.
00:10:47And the people who live on the boardwalk and two customers saw it, two customers left.
00:10:52They got really frightened.
00:10:54I said, don't leave.
00:10:55It's, you know, it's not going to hurt you.
00:10:57And the four vendors said, you know, I heard this building was really haunted.
00:11:00I said, actually, Virginia City is haunted in many places.
00:11:03Almost anyone who's lived up on the Comstock very long can tell you that there are some things that are unexplainable.
00:11:09I can't tell you what they mean.
00:11:11But I know what I've witnessed and what I felt.
00:11:13I felt somebody watching me before in a couple of the stores that I've worked in.
00:11:17And I turned around.
00:11:18One time I was tapped on the shoulder and there was nobody there.
00:11:21And I've tried the Ouija board when I was like in my 20s.
00:11:25And it did move for me, me and another person.
00:11:28And I know I didn't move it.
00:11:30And I'm pretty sure the other person didn't move it.
00:11:32But I felt something bad.

00:11:36So I just backed away from it because I felt I wasn't equipped at 20 years old to know what I was doing.

00:14:43constantly disturbing customers at the bar located on the first floor.

00:15:10Countless eyewitnesses have seen the apparition of a woman floating down this staircase.

00:16:13This section is known as one of the most highly active paranormal locations in Virginia City.
00:16:28When we were securing this location to investigate,
00:16:30we were informed by the manager of the bar downstairs
00:16:33that they had so much disturbance up here,
00:16:35they hired a psychic to walk through here about five years ago
00:16:39to see if she could communicate with some of the bothersome spirits.
00:16:42The psychic stated she came into contact with a very evil spirit
00:16:46and would never return here again.
00:16:51After hearing that story, we all became a little more focused.
00:17:02History reports the third level was the site of several rapes and murders
00:17:06from a place once known as the Millionaire's Club.
00:17:09In the late 1800s, it was a dark world of gambling, liquor, and prostitutes.
00:17:15Several ghosts that inhabit this building are presumed to be the victims of what occurred here,
00:17:20and of the corpses who are dishonorably stacked in the crypt.
00:17:24Okay, well we've pretty much taken a tour upstairs here,
00:17:27the second and third floors of the Washoe.

00:17:33We're going to get our night vision cameras and see if we can't catch any kind of
00:17:37activity on our night vision cameras, and we'll do some EVPs.

00:17:44while Nick would leave and walk the entire building
00:17:47in attempts to capture any activity on a digital recorder and on night vision.
00:17:52He just took some pictures in this room,
00:17:54and we caught some really weird orbs all over this room.
00:17:58Me and Aaron, since we got orbs in here, we're going to go completely dark.

00:20:06Nick was by himself in this ballroom attempting to record voices from spirits on a digital recorder known as EVPs or Electronic Voice Phenomenons.

00:20:30This clip was so stunning because there is a way we can analyze the footage to prove that it is of an actual apparition.
00:20:53Notice how Nick is visibly clear with sharpened edges, and he blocks the light coming through the window behind him.

00:25:00For years, there have been reports of glowing balls of light known as cemetery lights hovering above and around these grave sites.
00:25:07They are believed to be that of unrested spirits still attached to their bodies.

01:12:40All right, I've got some editing software that is used for infrared and night vision cameras and surveillance cameras
01:12:49that allows you to pick up things that you can't see normally with the naked eye.
01:12:53So we're going to go ahead and get started with that right now.
01:12:55All right, we're going to take a look at some footage here of a brick that takes flight.
01:12:59And here you can see it go off right here and right there.
01:13:02I'm going to bring up some graphics right here in a second that's going to show you of a straight line
01:13:06on which if the brick was launched or pulled in any way that it would have gone in a straight line.
01:13:10And you'll be able to see that underneath the line, you'll be able to see the brick come right here underneath the line there,
01:13:16kind of dip down underneath of it right there.
01:13:18Here's another view of it dip down and kind of went in an arch there.
01:13:22So in my opinion, it doesn't look like it's been tampered with.
01:13:25It looks like that something threw this brick.
01:13:30The next thing that I visually observed is the spinning of the brick.

01:13:38I'm getting rid of the ambient noise and the fuzz to see if there's any fishing line or rope or string.
01:13:44Something attached to the brick and you would see it through the video here.
01:14:02You'd be able to see the lines of it, especially after this brick takes flight.
01:14:07And clearly there's nothing here.
01:14:09All right, one of the other things that I found on this video after I cleaned it up with the vectorscope
01:14:13is there's a board back here that you can't really see back here now.
01:14:18But after I clean it up, you're going to be able to see this board take off from behind the brick.
01:14:22It kind of levitates itself up and flies to the opposite side of the brick, this board right here.
01:14:28It just goes off backwards and the brick is going one way.
01:14:32And even with the vectorscope, I couldn't.
01:14:34I analyzed the area with the vectorscope.
01:14:36It's just something that's really unexplainable.
01:14:39I am Victor Kwong and I teach physics at UNLV.
01:14:44And I'm interested in taking a look at some of the footage that I presented to me on a flying brick.
01:14:53It's kind of mysterious to me.
01:14:54I'm interested in finding out what has happened and provide certain explanations.
01:15:02If there is a string, you probably can see that because you are actually using light
01:15:08to follow that object.
01:15:10And then if you follow that object, the reflection from the string can clearly be seen.
01:15:15With the size of that brick, in order to do this without breaking,
01:15:21to lift that brick in such a short time, there's a tremendous amount of force.
01:15:26So the size of the string has to be relatively large.
01:15:29It should be observable.
01:15:32I went by and nobody was there and it was locked.
01:15:36We weren't there because after we got the message to get out,
01:15:39we then got split up and it didn't end there.
01:15:42After listening to the video footage of me yelling for Nick,
01:15:47we captured this EVP on Nick's camera,
01:15:50which sounds like a spirit standing right in front of his face screaming his name.
01:15:54We had the video analyst show us where this disembodied voice was coming from.
01:16:00We could hear this disembodied voice carried its own frequency.
01:16:05I then heard an unexplained sound that clearly resembled a child's or female's voice.
01:16:10We weren't able to decipher any message it was trying to say.
01:16:16After that loud bang, I don't remember how I found him,
01:16:19but Nick was confused and in a state of shock.
01:16:22We tried to get out, but the door was padlocked,
01:16:24so we jumped from the second floor fire escape.
01:16:30Ghosts everywhere, and you can believe it or not believe it,
01:16:34and it doesn't make any difference to me.

01:24:20And it went just past her ear, almost hit her in the side of the head.
01:24:25If it had hit her, it would have really hurt her.
