Danny Rouhier is not worried about Alex Sarr's 0-fer night in the Summer League and still liked the impact he had on the rest of the game.

00:00Alex Starr went over for 15, and everybody's doing a bit about that. That's totally fine
00:07if you want to do bits. Now, here's the thing. Over 15 is not good. I'm not sitting here telling
00:12you that that's good. I'm not telling you that that's even not the slightest bit worrisome,
00:17because it is. But this is not a, oh my God, this guy can't play thing. I don't think.
00:26Some people might make it that, and that's your call. To me, there's a giant difference
00:34between, say like a Johnny Davis, who's been in school for three years and is still on year
00:40three of summer league, not being able to do it in summer league. Like if you're 20, 21 years old
00:46with American sort of college basketball, AK, like, you know, the next level down,
00:52playing against future pros, current grownups in a big power conference, like the big 10,
00:56where you're going up against, you know, there's some post players in there. There's some strength.
01:01There's some weight room time from those guys, right? If you can't do it in summer league,
01:05oh crap. But if you watch them last night, you still saw an active player.
01:14You still saw a guy blocking shots. You still saw a guy getting, I think he had nine rebounds
01:20last evening. Is it concerning? Maybe a little bit, but I think there's a shoulder shrug emoji
01:30to this one. Over seven from three, over two from the foul line, which irritates me actually. That
01:36one bothers me, but three blocks, three assists, nine rebounds, incredibly active on the court.
01:43My opinion of him hasn't changed. He's still very raw. He still needs to add a great deal
01:49of strength, but I think what they said was go fail kid. Ain't nobody giving up on you.
01:58Go out there and just go.
