00:04I was covering the South Shields and Gateshead games here

00:07You can see me getting on the Metro big fan of South Shields ground. Really really like it. The pitch was in

00:14Fantastic condition. I have to say always really enjoy a trip to South Shields. Hey, you can see me doing a little pre-match prep

00:20With the pitch in the background not a lot of people there when I arrived

00:23I was lucky enough to see Sunderland squad arrive. You can see Leo Hjelda there

00:28Joe Anderson as well coming into your picture new signing Alan Brown was at the stadium as well

00:35Despite not playing

00:37He met fans alongside other Sunderland players as well. So good to see them come in

00:43Obviously lots of attention lots of interest from Sun and fans lots of Sun and fans at South Shields

00:48There was a fair few kids as well at Sunderland in the squad Harrison Jones there Tom Lavery

00:54Chris Rigg getting a lot of attention at South Shields after signing his deal a little clip of Sunderland players

01:00Warming up here. You can see Tommy Watson in the background there Kate and Kelly as well

01:06So good to see all of these players up close at South Shields. Very rainy though. The conditions weren't great. Thankfully I was undercover

01:13You can see a couple of Sunderland's youth players who are watching the game there

01:16From our vantage point trying to get a little bit of work done

01:19Which was difficult with Sunderland's youth players sort of in the way, but thankfully they cleared out

01:25The game was a good performance by Sunderland in the first half five nil up at halftime

01:31The second half was a little bit of a non event really interested to see Joe Anderson player left back

01:36I thought Eliza Mienda was good up front and

01:39Remain Mundell on the left-hand side did well, so there was lots of talking points

01:43Good to see a Adil Ushish there going over at Sunderland fans and taking a little

01:48A little look and having a few conversations

01:51He you've got Nick Barnes is his head in the background as we search for

01:56Elliot Dickman to speak to him and then it was heading over to

02:02Gateshead for the second game of the day not the best performance by Sunderland Gateshead really really accommodating

02:10To us journalists though, which was really really helpful

02:14Here's a little view of the press box with Sunderland playing in the background

02:18It ended 2-1 to Gateshead in the end disappointing performance by Sunderland

02:23But we did get to have a little look at Elliot Embelton

02:27At Jamie Tettey in the midfield as well Pia Recqua came on as a halftime substitution

02:38Right back for Gateshead. So it was a busy day long hours

02:42I had a lot of stuff to do as you can see me posting some social media stuff there play ratings
