00:00A better day all round on Wednesday, across many parts with some sunshine, a few showers
00:06and temperatures will be higher as well, warming up further through the latter part of the
00:10week.
00:11More about that in a moment.
00:12For the time being though, into Wednesday a ridge of high pressure, keeping things fairly
00:16settled.
00:17A few showers in the mix, many areas seeing some sunshine.
00:20Before we look towards the west, another system coming in, bringing with it towards western
00:25parts on Thursday, some showery bursts of rain.
00:28Now through Tuesday evening until around 8pm, there's a weather warning for some quite intense
00:32showers across eastern Scotland and north-east England, but they will fade away.
00:37Most places having a pleasant evening and a fine night, a little showery rain just comes
00:42and goes across the far north-west of Scotland and certainly more clouds across Shetland
00:47as well as Orkney.
00:48Clearer skies further south and east and temperatures holding up around 11 to 13, 14 degrees Celsius.
00:55And what that means, it's a pleasant start to the day on Wednesday morning, a good amount
01:01of sunshine coming through.
01:03Now through the morning, yet again, we'll see more cloud just come and go across western
01:07fringes of Scotland and a little showery rain here.
01:10Elsewhere, the cloud could build through the middle part of the day, there's a chance of
01:13a few showers, they'll be fleeting and they won't have the intensity that we've seen on
01:18Tuesday across eastern Scotland and north-east England.
01:21So with the sunshine temperatures 21 across Scotland and Northern Ireland, Mid Wales seeing
01:24a 23, down towards the south-east we'll squeeze a 25 Celsius, so a warm day on the cards and
01:31temperatures will slowly recover through the next few days, particularly across England
01:34and Wales.
01:35However, further west, some more clouds and some outbreaks of showery rain arrive into
01:40the early hours of Thursday morning.
01:42More cloud just drifts across the sky across Scotland, Northern England, Wales as well
01:46as the west country and we can't rule out some showery rain here.
01:50Elsewhere though, it's fine, it's dry with some good spells of sunshine coming through
01:54and temperatures towards the south-east could reach 25, 26 Celsius, even higher than that.
01:59And here's your outlook through Friday, a better day for many, some sunny spells, a
02:04mix of clouds across the central portion of the country but even so some warmth coming
02:08through as temperatures arrive around 30 degrees Celsius across the south-east of England.
02:13See you later.
