Region 4-A swimmers dominate 4-day swimming competitions of Palarong Pambansa 2024

00:17Swimmers Albert Amaro II and Micaela Jasmine Moje of Region 4A Calabarzon dominated the
00:32four-day swimming competitions of Palarong Pangbansa 2024 held at the Cebu City Sports
00:38Center. Amaro is one of the most be-medaled athletes at this year's games winning seven
00:44gold medals in the secondary boys and setting new records in the 50-meter butterfly, 100-meter
00:50butterfly, and 4x100 medley relay.
00:53Amaro, who is a junior national team member,
01:14is no stranger to local and international swimming competitions and like any other
01:19athlete, he aspires to be an Olimpian.
01:32Moje, on the other hand, ruled the secondary girls winning five gold medals and breaking
01:38two Palarong records in the process. In an interview by PTV Sports, Moje said that she
01:44is aware that people have high expectations for her in this tournament.
01:49As I grow up, the most I learned is to not care about other people's expectations and
01:55instead, I care more about my own expectations and goals. Because at the end of the day,
02:03that's what really matters, how you treat yourself.
02:08Moje also shared her plans following her last Palarong Pangbansa this year.
