00:00Here in victory lane at Pocono with Skip Flores tire changer for the winning 12 team skip big win for you a home racetrack
00:06And you were here when Ryan got his first win back in 2017. How great is it to be back in victory lane today?
00:11Yeah, Pocono is awesome
00:13I grew up racing in Pennsylvania
00:15And I just have a lot of memories of coming to Pennsylvania Poconos
00:18Like you said has been great to us to get the 99th with the Wood brothers and Ryan's first here
00:22That was really special another guy that was with us that day is Chris Conklin
00:25He was our Jackman on 21, but he's our he's our gas man now, and he was an absolute dog today
00:30He he he was great. He's our like I said. This is these races are really challenging for the gas man
00:36So we just made sure we didn't get penalties got the wheels tight and watched him sling it all day
00:40So much of being successful here is what you do on pit road and a lot of what it is is
00:45Seeing what everybody else does and being able to adapt to the change in strategy for you guys as the crew
00:50What is that like to have a race where you always have to be on your toes?
00:53Yeah, this one. You know this race is much different than than any other is you know?
00:57It's it's comes down to fuel mileage and strategy so as a picker guy
01:01You don't really have to be blazing fast you want to do your job right the first time and not mess up the strategy
01:06You know because we were waiting on fuel most of the day
01:08So whatever we had to do to cater to Chris and not like we said not get penalties get the wheels tight and do in
01:14A timely manner and give ourselves a chance with a fast race car. That's exactly what we did and Jonathan's
01:18You know his his strategy him and Tony Palmer
01:21It worked out perfect you were part of this team last year winning the championship from your perspective on pit road
01:27Is this another championship winning year for this team absolutely?
01:30I mean we what we do well as we set goals
01:33And then we obtain them so our goal coming into this year was to be strong through the summer again
01:37We felt like we we had a little and I sent
01:39Hassler and I sent our guys a text this week that was a breakdown of we you know we've scored the most points the last
01:44Five races and you know we kept that going today and another win too in the last you know four or five
01:49So we wanted to be strong not just in the playoffs, but in the summer, so we set that goal
01:53And we're executing it, so that's just the makings of a championship team well congrats on the win go celebrate in your hometown
01:58Thanks so much
