00:00Obviously, a rally to finish fourth for Ryan Blaney, considering where you guys were battling
00:03all day long, but then also 50 laps before the checkered flag.
00:06How good was your race car today here in Kansas?
00:08Yeah, it was really good.
00:09I thought we did a great job of really being in the ballgame all weekend, and I thought
00:15we were pretty good in practice, had a good qualifying effort, and after 20 laps, my car
00:21was fantastic.
00:22I could really start going forward.
00:24I could run the bottom of three and four, which I didn't think many guys could do, and
00:28so that was a big advantage, to kind of have a lane to yourself.
00:31It was hard to hit.
00:32You had to hit like a foot of paint, but if I hit it right, it was really good, so yeah,
00:37we did a really good job in the first couple stages and had a mishap with the loose wheel
00:41there.
00:42You know, the third stage, and I had a pit.
00:46I ran it until it was about to fall off the thing, and we just caught a break of getting
00:50a caution.
00:51It's about time we catch a good break on this group, and was able to let us restack and
00:55run fourth.
00:56So proud of the effort.
00:57Appreciate everybody.
00:58Move on to talladega.
00:59You mentioned talladega, but we have two weeks and two racetracks that you have had success
01:03at and found victory lane at both of these, 28 points above the cut line.
01:06Comfort level.
01:07Where are you at?
01:08I mean, I don't know.
01:09I don't think you can be too comfortable.
01:10I mean, that stuff can vanish quickly, so just keep our head like it was going into
01:15this weekend.
01:16You know, I mean, hey, let's go try to do the best job that we can, and we'll work on
01:19the things that we struggled at today and try to get better at them.
01:22That's all you can do.
01:24As far as talladega is concerned, like, we've just always tried to lead laps there and control
01:29the flow of it.
01:30That's where I'm comfortable, and that's where I kind of just try to be, and, you know, we've
01:34been fortunate there a few times, and hopefully we can just, you know, have a clean race.
01:38I mean, that's all you want to do is just try to run where you should, so hopefully
01:43it goes well, but yeah, you can never be too comfortable unless you're locked in, so you
01:47try not to live that way.
01:48Thanks, Ryan.
