00:00I feel like the last two months, we've been spectacular.
00:03I feel like the speed in our cars have been great.
00:05A couple of finishes might not reflect that,
00:07but it's really none of our doing.
00:09Some of them, I mean, you know, Gateway,
00:11we had a great shot to win.
00:12It just didn't really work out.
00:13New Hampshire, I thought we had a great run going
00:15and got spun out.
00:16And I am really feeling good about the speed in our cars
00:22right now across the board at Team Penske.
00:24I feel like we've found a lot of stuff.
00:26I talked, you know, the last month of short tracks.
00:30You know, I think our short track program is fantastic
00:32and we need to work on the mile and a half plus racetracks.
00:35And we come today to a big two and a half miler and win it.
00:37You know, so gosh, we've done our homework since Charlotte
00:40and figure out how to be competitive
00:42and compete with the Hendrick boys and the Gibbs guys
00:45and 2311, and we're right there.
00:48So I feel like the summer last year,
00:52we struggled a little bit,
00:54just trying to find some things that would work for us
00:57come playoff time.
00:58And I had to sit around all summer
01:00and hear people say that we suck.
01:02And we didn't want that this year.
01:05You know, I mean, at the same time,
01:07we've been trying to find some things
01:08that are working for us and they just have, you know,
01:11sometimes you try things that you want to focus on
01:15that you feel like is going to make your team
01:17and your organization better.
01:18And sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.
01:20And just what we've been doing this year has been working.
01:22So I'm super proud of the effort,
01:24all the boys and girls at Team Penske
01:26for putting the effort in.
01:28They are great at what they do.
01:29And I couldn't find myself at another place
01:32because they just work really hard
01:34and they just put their heads down
01:35and figure out how to be better.
01:37And it's cool to drive for a company like that.
