405lbs & Obese To 205lbs Beast | BRAND NEW ME

A MAN who weighed 405lbs has lost half his body weight in three years, transforming himself from obese to beast - and even taking part in a bodybuilding competition. In 2018, Levi, from Rhode Island, went to hospital after experiencing intense chest pains - and doctors told him that the next one would be a massive heart attack. He decided to change his lifestyle for good so he could be there to see his grandson grow up. Committing himself to a cleaner diet and consistent exercise, Levi lost 230lbs - and shocked his wife by competing on stage in a bodybuilding competition. Levi is now a fitness coach and says: “I want to be the best me I can be, the best version of myself, mentally, physically and emotionally. I’m stronger than I’ve ever been, I look better than I ever have, and I know it - and own it.”

00:00The heaviest I weighed was 405 pounds.
00:03I was 32 years old.
00:05While at work, one day, I passed out in the bathroom.
00:08Next day, I went to the hospital.
00:10They basically said the next one
00:12would be a massive heart attack.
00:13And that was the day when everything changed.
00:16I've lost over half my body weight in three years.
00:20A grand total of 230 pounds.
00:23I told my wife, I'm going to get on stage in my underwear
00:25and pose.
00:28I'm stronger than I've ever been.
00:29I look better than I ever have.
00:32And I know it.
00:33And I own it.
00:38I would have to say it has to start back
00:40from when I was a kid.
00:42I was a nerd.
00:43So I would always get picked on and beat up
00:45and stuff like that.
00:46And my comfort at that time was food.
00:50I was extremely shy.
00:51I couldn't talk in front of people.
00:54I couldn't talk to people.
00:56It took me about two years of college
00:57where I was comfortable exposing
00:59who I am and the thoughts that I have within my head.
01:05This is by far like the chunkiest thing I would do.
01:10I would cook my eggs in the bacon fat.
01:15And then I would add on top of this
01:16like a whole bunch of cheese.
01:18You got to hit rock bottom before you actually
01:20see a change.
01:21My stepdaughter got pregnant at an early age at 16 years old.
01:26We knew she needed to finish school.
01:27So we made a conscious decision for my wife to stay home.
01:31I'll be the only one working.
01:33That put a lot of stress on me.
01:35So I kept eating my feelings.
01:36I got to the point where I still would weigh myself
01:39every once in a while.
01:41And it was just a error on the scale.
01:43While at work, one day I was in one of the stores
01:47and I passed out in the bathroom.
01:50I had like a massive pain in my chest.
01:53I told my boss, he's like, you need to go to the hospital.
01:57You need to go get yourself checked out.
01:58I went the next day, my blood pressure was through the roof
02:01and they did an EKG on my heart.
02:03And they basically said the next one's
02:05going to be a massive heart attack.
02:07That's when I found out I weighed 405 pounds.
02:09My brain just went right back into like
02:11that bully little kid.
02:13I came home and my grandson, Julian,
02:16I looked at him and I told that boy,
02:18I will be there every step of the way.
02:20And that was the day when everything changed.
02:24I've been eating this breakfast now for the last couple months.
02:29I eat 3,900 calories a day now.
02:32And that's to maintain because my activity is a lot higher.
02:36I choose to eat like this, as well as be happy,
02:40but also maintain my goals and to reach my goals.
02:43I can't reach my goals eating that every day.
02:48I've always had an infatuation with bodybuilding
02:50because I grew up watching wrestling.
02:52I told my wife, I'm doing a physique competition.
02:55She's like, what?
02:56I was like, I'm going to get on stage in my underwear and pose.
03:00I did a bodybuilding competition in November 2019.
03:03I did my own prep, did my own diet,
03:05and I got down to 175 pounds.
03:08I'm 6'1", so that's very lean, very skinny.
03:11So I gained a little bit weight back.
03:12I reverse dieted and I got up to a comfortable weight
03:15of 200 pounds.
03:18I've lost over half my body weight in three years.
03:22Oh!
03:26I go to the gym for an hour and a half every single day

03:37When I go and train, if I'm having a bad day,
03:39I never bring it home.
03:41I never bring a bad day home to my family.
03:45Right now, I deadlift 465 pounds.
03:49I really want to get to where I hit 500 in a 585.
03:55Levi and I met sophomore year of high school in 2000.
03:59Three in one.
04:00Okay.
04:01Levi has changed significantly since I've known him.
04:04He went from being a obese person to now being a beast,
04:08so it's a drastic change.
04:11Levi practically lives in the gym now, like me.
04:15I want to be the best me that I can be.
04:16I want to be the best version of myself,
