Mobile applications for social betterment

Shown here are the applications which made the cut in the Nokia Calling all Innovators (www.callingallinnovators.com) contest because of their innovativeness and because they have the potential to better the living of everybody especially the developing world.

Featured applications include an application named Nano Ganesh (winner of the grand prize at Calling all Innovators contest) which allows farmers in India to establish remote contact with electric irrigation pumps, to remote control the pump operations.

Also featured is an application which lets you check the genuineness of the drug purchased just by inputting the drug code in the web connected mobile.
