00:00So Senator Daines, I mean, there's just so much that I find interesting. I do want the organization
00:07to honor their history. And I do think there are, I've seen it with my own eyes, right? Like I've
00:15traveled with this football team and I've seen groups of Native Americans come together supporting
00:21the logo and the team name because they took it as a sense of pride. I've also seen the opposite.
00:26I've seen groups of Native Americans in large numbers, protest and rally against the name
00:30because they thought it was offensive. And I think you can easily see why both sides would
00:38have their opinion. Senator Daines from Montana has entered this fight because the family that
00:46came up with the logo and the inspiration for the logo are from Montana. I find it laughable that
00:52that is how he's decided to enter into the fight. I'm sure there's a lot of people in
00:56Montana that would love a Senator to try to represent them. I fear much of this is driven
01:02by politics, but if the commanders are going to honor the Wetzel family and honor the logo,
01:08and I like to think there is a cool way to have the old logo at FedEx field that is both respectful,
01:14a nod to history and looks forward. If they're checking all these boxes, is Senator Daines done?
01:24Yeah, that's going to be, that's going to be a tough question. I would see the
01:27Senator Daines offices and Senator Daines on Wednesday, one on X, formerly Twitter and posted
01:33a Santana Moss video or reposted as Santana Moss to the NFL did. And no, they're going back through
01:40the Super Bowl this year or the three Super Bowl titles that the commanders won. They kind of
01:46cropped out the logo and the name and everything. And for those three Super Bowls back when the team
01:52was known as that. So, and then they posted this video. So there's a lot of like reading tea leaves
01:57going on. We're like, oh, they're open to it. Yes. But as my story mentioned this morning,
02:03last night, they're in this ownership group does, has mentioned, Redskin has mentioned the name
02:10before. And it's, but it's, it's Josh Harris talking about, you know, going up, you know,
02:16he's, he's from here going, going to the games. And so, you know, they talk about the history.
02:21That's one thing. And I think people are reading a lot into that people, people, including Senator
02:25Daines office, I think, and, and, and the social media posts that this ownership group is open to
02:31a return of the name. They are so far, my sources say they're, they're not, they're,
02:36they're talking to the family. The name's never coming back now.
02:39Yeah, dude. Like it's been so unequivocal that the name's not coming back. I just wish,
02:46I wish that would stop.
