00:00I, you request a trade. A lot of people request trades that never get traded. What are, what
00:06do you make of the news?
00:07Speaker 3 I'm not terribly surprised given how things
00:12have gone with his contract negotiations. I was secretly hoping it would not for selfish
00:21reasons. But yeah, I mean, like you said, I, I just have trouble seeing him seeing the
00:2849ers part with him this year. You know, I, I think there would probably be a market
00:35for him. It's just, you know, how much are, are teams willing to give up to take him on
00:40and then give him a bigger contract? That's a lot. I also wonder if, you know, how he's
00:47kind of handled the contract negotiations, if that's kind of affected this market at
00:51all. I mean, I, you know, I, I mean, I have my own opinions on the matter, but you know,
00:59he is quite a talent. So I don't know. I think I, I still would be, I would still find it
01:07difficult to see him leaving San Fran at this point. A lot could change still, certainly.
01:10I just have one team to offer up, but yeah.
01:13Speaker 2 I agree with you on that. But this is what
01:15I look at. If you are not willing to just break the bank right now, then you're wasting
01:20your time because you'll be dealing with the same situation next year.
01:22Speaker 3 Correct. Exactly. Exactly. You have to give
01:25up assets and give them a big deal.
01:26Speaker 2 If a team is willing to do that. And I believe
01:30if Washington had won them, they probably would have won because they had the money
01:33to get it done. The time, the draft was the time to me. If the Niners focus is winning
01:40a Superbowl, then why would you trade an all pro receiver when whatever comes back this
01:45year won't help you this year, unless it's a player for player. You know what I mean?
01:49Do you think you think there's a possibility that it is a player for player thing if they
01:53were to get something done?
01:54Speaker 3 I mean, in Washington, you mean, I mean,
01:58maybe in general, but yeah, I mean, you know what team is willing to give up a similar
02:04caliber player like that? It'd be have to be a team in rebuild mode. I would think that's
02:11willing to, you know, kind of tear down, but are you willing to do that for a receiver
02:17really who, I mean, receivers impact is limited. You can have star receivers who are fantastic
02:22players, game changers, but their role is still dependent on a quarterback and other
02:26people. So would you do that for a receiver? I don't know. I don't know. Every team's different.
