00:41And today it's not expected to get any easier for the Orioles.
00:44They're the home underdog against Garrett Cole and the Yankees.
00:47Yeah, you see that nine there and you say to yourself, okay, Yankees bats, Baltimore
00:51bats were a sign up and including the pitching matchup we'll get to in just a few moments.
00:55But I don't know what's going on with that Baltimore offense that has been so prolific
00:58and granted, we understand baseball's a long season.
01:01You're going to go through lulls in your offense.
01:02You're going to go through lulls on your pitching staff and your bullpen.
01:05It just seems to be happening at the wrong time for the Orioles.
01:07But this is a massive matchup.
01:09If we're taking a look at Cade Povich, who does most of his innings, or I should say
01:12pitch most of his innings on the road this year.
01:15But if we are looking here, Ben, at just the past 60 days with a minimum total of 20 innings
01:21pitched, Povich is the worst pitcher on the card today.
01:24How about this?
01:25You know, I talk about that X-fit minus number.
01:27100 is the baseline below that.
01:29Very good.
01:30Above that.
01:31Not so good.
01:32It's got a 147.
01:33So again, 100 is average.

01:36You take a look at his ERA over the 60 days.
01:37If you're into that 6.51, you want to take a look at his X-fit number.
01:41When we talk about that, it's similar to ERA.
01:43Like you want that three 50 or less, he's at a 5.99.
01:46So effectively he's at a six X-fit number.
01:49Now granted, you look at that Yankees lineup that hasn't been sensational over the past
01:5230 days.
01:53Judge Soto Torres, who does have a high ISO power number, and also Jones, who only has
01:5913 at-bats against left-handed pitching with some decent numbers.
02:01It doesn't show that great, but Povich has been really bad against lefty and righty batters
02:06as a left-handed pitcher.
02:07You flip it over to Baltimore.
02:08Yes, their lineup typically shows very good against right-handed pitchers, and we don't
02:12technically know what we're still getting out of Garrett Cole.
02:15But having said that, I really know it looks like what I'm getting out of Povich, which
02:18isn't a great pitcher.
02:19Their offense has been struggling.
02:21What's the chance that we get five to six innings pitched out of quality out of Garrett
02:25Cole?
02:26And that should be enough.
02:27I like the Yankees tonight in Baltimore.

02:29They are slipping down here, and we might even see a role reversal in the AL East race
02:35here by the time we get to the all-star break.
