00:00The main challenges that companies and organizations today face in managing talents and people are, I would say, four.
00:14The first concerns a huge change in values and priorities that we see, especially in the new generations.
00:21This comes from the whole ESG trend and requires companies to rethink what they offer in terms of value.
00:28The second big change is due to technology and to the speed and simplification of a whole series of processes.
00:39The third big element comes from the current macroeconomic context, which is highly volatile, in great change and uncertainty.
00:51This requires a series of capabilities and skills to be able to deal with this context of uncertainty.
00:58And the last topic is, of course, the impacts of the pandemic.
01:01Because the pandemic is over, but we still see the effects that have become structural for everything related to remote work,
01:09virtual and hybrid collaborations, and therefore, in fact, the day-by-day of the employee.
01:17First of all, I believe that the fundamental principle of the new People's Strategy must be precisely that of putting people at the center,
01:26at the center of the processes and of everything we call the Employee Journey.
01:32So it is important, in reviewing the processes and introducing the technologies, to think that it is the person who should benefit first.
01:40And this is the first point.
01:41The second point is, of course, to propose a value proposition that must be a little wider for the employee
01:47and not only offer the opportunity to make a career and create value,
01:52but also to do it within a context that has a kind of social responsibility for the territory and for a whole series of other aspects, the environment, for example.
02:01Because this is sought after and desired.
02:05The third element of the strategy is, of course, to propose processes and tools to promote these new modes of work,
02:12hybrid, virtual, remote, much faster and faster, collaborative, agile.
02:20So a whole series of tools and also of spaces, very often, that can allow this thing here.
02:26And then, finally, I would say, of course, to always ensure a lot of diversity and inclusion,
02:33because this generates loyalty within the workforce of the employees
02:39and loyalty, as we know, requires lower costs to be managed, but above all it generates more value.
