Ingredients:
- 1 cup boneless beef, cut into small pieces
- 1 cup wheat grains (haleem)
- 1/2 cup split yellow lentils (moong dal)
- 1/4 cup split Bengal gram (chana dal)
- 1/4 cup split red lentils (masoor dal)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil or ghee for cooking
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
- Sliced ginger and lemon wedges for serving

Instructions:
1. Wash and soak the wheat grains in water for at least 2 hours.
2. In a pressure cooker, add the soaked wheat grains, split yellow lentils, split Bengal gram, and split red lentils. Add 4 cups of water and pressure cook for about 4-5 whistles or until the grains are soft and mushy.
3. In a separate pan, heat oil or ghee and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
4. Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute until the raw smell disappears.
5. Add the beef pieces and cook until they are browned on all sides.
6. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
7. Transfer the cooked wheat grains and lentils mixture to the pan with the beef. Mix everything together.
8. Add more water if needed to achieve the desired consistency. Simmer the haleem on low heat for about 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
9. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
11. Serve hot with sliced ginger and lemon wedges on the side.
