छत्तीसगढ़ की प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष दीपक बैज ने कहा कि जिस तरह से पूरे प्रदेश की बात करें तो लगातार हर दिन 10 घटनाएं घट रही हैं। सरकार का कोई नियंत्रण नहीं है। जगदलपुर जो की एक संभाग मुख्यालय, जिला मुख्यालय है और वहां दिन में चाकू बाजी जैसी घटना हो रही है। 5 दिन के अंदर यह तीसरी बड़ी घटना है। अपराधी रात में घरों में घुसते हैं और तीन लोगों को हाथ पैर बांधकर उनके ऊपर हथियार से हमला कर काट दिया जाता है। दोनों की मौत हो जाती है और एक गंभीर हालत में अस्पताल में भर्ती है। इस घटना से पूरा बस्तर पूरा जगदलपुर आक्रोशित है। छत्तीसगढ़ में कानून व्यवस्था चरमरा गई है। सरकार पता नहीं किस सुशासन की बात कर रही है। दीपक बैज ने कहा कि मैं पूछना चाहता हूं कि क्या यही सुशासन है या फिर जंगल राज है? सरकार को इस पर जवाब देना चाहिए।
