00:28Red Buster only on Sunday Night Baseball reported that the organization was undecided about

00:32the deadline, which tells me they're trying not to buy anything, but if the team forces

00:38them to, they will.

00:39Am I wrong in how I read that?

00:43I think a lot of this is probably analytics-driven.

00:48You know, they're trying to make the decision, you know, is this a little bit of a fluke?

00:53Are players overachieving?

00:55Is what they're doing right now and after the last couple of months sustainable?

00:58And if so, should we add, and if we think, you know what, this probably isn't really

01:03going to happen, maybe we won't add.

01:06So if I'm guessing, I think that's it.

01:09I think they want to take the time to, if in fact they are undecided on which way to

01:15go, and I certainly trust Buster, he's extremely well-connected, you know, then that's probably

01:22why.

01:23They don't have to go all in to that decision right now, but I think if it keeps going like

01:28this or even close to it, you know, please, you know, step up and make the team better

01:34and try to win this year, be in the playoffs, you know, and try to create more interest.

01:40You know, it's quite apparent in the attendance and in the ratings that people around here

01:47don't have the same interest in the Red Sox that they once had.

01:52And it's because they haven't won.

01:54So if you really want people to be interested in your team, and you know, why would you

01:58own a team if you don't want people to be interested in it, particularly this team where

02:02people have been interested in this for decades upon decades, then why do you own the team?

02:08So try to win, you know, I'm not saying give up these prospects.
