00:00I would like to thank you for the invitation to ask about ASEAN.
00:06ASEAN is a union of Southeast Asian countries that was established in August 1967.
00:21ASEAN was established 57 years ago.
00:25ASEAN has become a major bloc in Southeast Asia,
00:34starting from 5 countries, now there are 10 countries,
00:38and there is one country that is a status observer.
00:43Fortunately, we will be the leader of ASEAN in 2025.
00:48We have prepared a lot.
00:53We have a leadership power that is managed by our minister,
01:00where all ministries are involved.
01:07And we also have a ministerial power.
01:10There are three main pillars,
01:14the first is security and politics,
01:19the second is economy, and the third is culture.
01:23The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the coordinator of politics and security.
01:31As of June, we have gathered from these three pillars
01:40a total of 257 meetings of the highest rank of state leaders, ministers, and officials
01:50will be held in 2025.
01:53We have also identified places and we will hold meetings.
01:59These meetings will not only take place in Kuala Lumpur,
02:03but in various places throughout the country,
02:06including in Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Pulau Pinang, Langkawi,
02:13and several other places.
02:15Considering the many negotiations that will be held next year.
02:22This has already been arranged.
02:24We have a secretariat, what is called as SILA,
02:27a secretariat that will continue to monitor,
02:30namely the Indo-Logistics ASEAN Secretariat 2025.
02:34This secretariat is the main secretary
02:39who will manage logistics and substantive.
02:44What is important is that logistics must be seen from now on,
02:50to ensure the arrival of our guests from all over the world.
02:55We have a dialogue with ASEAN,
02:57there are also ASEAN Plus Dialogue Partners,
02:59there are 11 Dialogue Partners in major countries,
03:02and we will also have ASEAN Plus and many more.
03:07So this is a tribute to Malaysia,
03:11who will be the manager next year,
03:13and various events or ways that we have prepared,
03:18in addition to the meetings of officials, ministers and others.
03:23And we ask that every ministry and every country,
03:28where the places are, we will have a dialogue,
03:31to jointly host and prepare the places
03:37where they will receive their guests from abroad.
03:41Thank you.
