Austin Gravelding - album Self made man 1970

Debut album by acid folk singer/songwriter Austin Gravelding from Seattle, Washington. Gravelding has two big claims to fame. One is having written the song "Hello Teddy bear" with Ron Padovana who became later hard rock metal singer Ronnie James Dio. The other big claim is having written the song "We were heroes" that the pop singer Melissa Manchester recorded as duet with Bread's David Gates and that appeared on Manchester's album "Hey Ricky" in 1982. "Self made man" is a rural country folk rock album, with a mellow feeling and the warm inviting voice of Gravelding.
