00:09It was a special golden buzzer moment for a very gifted 9-year-old on America's Got Talent

00:14during the July 2nd episode of the competition show Pranayska Mishra

00:18explained she's been singing since the age of 4.

00:22I always just love singing. It makes me feel happy.

00:25Even when I was like 4 years old, I would just pretend like I have a microphone

00:30and I would just like sing like I'm singing to like the whole world.

00:35Well in the 5 years since, the little girl has developed a powerful voice

00:39that the judges could not have imagined when she walked onto the stage.

00:43You have the perfect look for the audition today. I love the look, love the dress.

00:47Who are you and where are you from?

00:49My name is Pranayska Mishra and I'm 9 years old and I'm from Tampa, Florida.

00:54She explained to the judges who some of her vocal inspirations are.

00:58Who's your favorite artist in the world?

01:01Um, I have more than one.

01:03Go on, give me a couple.

01:05Aretha Franklin, Wendy Houston and Tina Turner.

01:08Okay.

01:09And it was clear she had been taking notes from those vocal powerhouses

01:13as she began singing a cover of River Deep Mountain High by Tina Turner.

01:18When I was a little girl, I had a rag doll.

01:23The only doll I ever owned.

01:29It was a strong start and grew to be even more impressive,

01:32leaving the judges jaws on the floor as she hit some of the toughest,

01:36highest notes of the iconic song.

01:38Yeah, River Deep Mountain High, oh yeah, yeah.

01:44As the young girl finished, she was met with a standing ovation

01:47from the crowd and the judges who made sure to show her

01:51she had done an outstanding job.
