03:42We believe that change is possible.
03:46We are fed up of the chaos and the decline and the failure of the last 14 years.
03:53And tonight, we are turning the page.
03:57We will be fighting every day for a better NHS.
04:01To help you with your bills.
04:03To help you all get on the housing ladder.
04:05To give every child the best opportunities that they deserve.
04:11Keir Starmer is realistic about the scale of the challenge facing our country.
04:15There is no magic wand.
04:17But the Labour Party will be absolutely focused on delivering every day for you.
04:23And I want to thank now, every one here who has made the democratic process possible.
04:28To the police, to our returning officer Shaukat Lal, to Zoe and Tracy and the entire elections team.
04:34And all those who worked on the polling stations and here tonight.
04:38And thank you to my fellow candidates for a respectful contest.
04:42I think that politics is about the hope and the optimism of people.
04:47And we have the most incredible team of people that have believed in and fought for a better stand-up.

05:43And also most of all to Sanjan, I know how hard it has been at times.
05:47And your love, your care and support for your reality checks have been very helpful.
05:52And obviously it has meant the whole world.
05:54I want to finish by saying this.
05:57Tonight, West Bromwich has sent a Labour emblem to Westminster as part of change that is sweeping our country.
