00:00And it says, you've got to give it a lot of breath.
00:04They're trained to get through it.
00:07That's the thing.
00:09It is what it's doing.
00:12Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:16I'm not quite sure what's going on.
00:35Did anybody get him?
00:37No.
00:45That's on there.
01:06No, that's all good, mate.
01:08It's five o'clock now, so...
01:16So...
01:24I'll have a look, see where they are.
01:26No, not with the camera, just with the eyes, so you can see.
01:31The man's on the left wing.
01:44By the time you get there, they'll all have moved a bit, you know.
02:00Do you want to say that?
02:04Rob, it's the most important thing we ever tell you
02:07when we see England live training,
02:09because all 26 members of the England squad are out there on the grass today.
02:13That's a huge boost to Gareth Southgate.
02:15Remember, they were all given the day off yesterday.
02:18None of them did anything football-related.
02:21Only Juventus had a tiny bit of a boost.
02:23Remember, this is the biggest gap England will have between matches,
02:26if they go all the way to the final, as we hope they will.
02:29Between the last 16 games and the quarter-final.
02:32From here on in, if they win against Switzerland on Saturday,
02:35it'll be a three-day turnaround between each of the semi-finals and the final.
02:39So they enjoyed that day off, but it's back to business right now.
02:42All 26 out there.
02:44Right in the middle of your picture, we can see Kieran Trippier.
02:46And that's good news, because we know he's been struggling with a bit of a calf there.
02:51In fact, let's just move across to John Stonesworth.
02:53He's got some pretty heavy strapping on that right knee.
02:56That is something new, that's something we weren't expecting.
02:58He did have a bit of strapping on his right.
03:01That looks pretty heavy strapping, you have to say, on John Stonesworth, doesn't it?
03:04So clearly he's got some issue there that the FA medical staff are monitoring
03:10and trying to support as much as possible.
03:12But we'll try and find out a bit more about that.
03:15He was struggling with a calf strain at the end of Newcastle's season.
03:19We know that he's been carrying that into the start of this international tournament as well.
03:25And he got a really hefty challenge as well from one of the Slovakian players that hurt his knee.
03:29He was pretty battered and bruised coming off that last-16 game against Slovakia.
03:34But he's out there, he's fit, he's training, which is the place where we want them to be.
03:37Mark Gaye, England's best defender for me, has been outstanding in this tournament so far.
03:43But he's suspended. He got a second yellow card against Slovakia in the tournament.
03:48That means he is suspended for this quarterfinal game on Saturday against Switzerland.
03:54So lots of questions about who might come in for him.
03:58Let's see if we can find Luke Shaw, shall we?
04:00Because that's the other bit of him, really.
04:02Remember, Gareth Southgate said it was a real gamble to bring him in and include him in this squad.
04:06There he is in the middle there.
04:08He's been out on the grass for the last few sessions with England now.
04:11He's told a couple of reporters, as he was, for Gareth Southgate to try and get 10 or 15 minutes out of him.
04:18In the quarterfinal, but the game meant that wasn't possible at all.
04:22Is it possible that he could start at left back?
04:25With Kieran Trippier out there and training, I very much doubt it.
04:28I think Southgate will still revert to plan A, even though he's been delayed,
04:32and try and get Luke Shaw on the pitch at some point in the game,
04:36if England are winning it comfortably.
04:38But there are absolutely no guarantees about that with the form that they've been in in this tournament so far, are there?
04:42So it might be difficult for Luke Shaw to come on the pitch.
04:46So we wait to see.
04:47Interestingly, we will hear from Luke Shaw.
04:49He's talking to the media.
04:50First time he's done England media in this tournament.
04:52But that'll be 2.30.
04:53We'll bring that to you live on Sky Sports News.
04:55What does the man himself think about his fitness?
04:58Is he ready to go?
05:00I'm sure he'll say he absolutely is ready to go and he's fine.
05:03But we'll talk to him a little bit later on.
05:052.30 on Sky Sports News.
05:09Well, yeah.
05:10Juper Ling was in the dining room, and he said some really nice things, actually.
05:14He talked, for the first time, really openly about the goal.
05:17And he paid tribute to Mark Gayne.
05:20Did you see how they turned the sprinklers on for him?
05:22He was really, really nice to them.
05:24So it looks like Juper Ling is in a thunderstorm.
05:26He isn't.
05:27That sprinkler is...
05:28He did get some time off yesterday.
05:30And when he spoke in the dining room, he paid a big tribute to Mark Gayne.
05:33He called him the most humble man in the squad.
05:35And he didn't want any attention for that flick on that set Juper Ling up for that wonder goal that kept England in this tournament.
05:43...career so far.
05:45But he was spotted in town where we're staying, in Erfurt,
05:48when he went out with his mum and father yesterday in a cafe.
05:53In fact, somebody in the FA has just told me that when I went for a run yesterday afternoon,
05:57I ran straight past him while he was sitting in the cafe.
05:59Which is what they did.
06:01I mean, they did it once earlier in the tournament as well.
06:03Harry Kane said there were kids running all over the place in the team hotel.
06:08Bouncy castles and horse-riding activities.
06:11They said it lasted five hours and maybe we should have cut it a bit shorter.
06:14So maybe when we speak to Luke Shaw a little bit later on, we'll ask him exactly what went on yesterday.
06:31The way he's performed in this tournament so far...
06:35But I think that's Esri Conzer.
06:37If we can try and find Esri Conzer,
06:40I think he, for me, is the most likely man to come in to replace Mark Gayee.
06:46There he is, in the middle of the picture there.
06:48The Aston Villa man.
06:49He's been so consistent all season for Aston Villa.
06:52And he's shown his versatility already.
06:56Left-back, right-back, centre-back.
06:59And I think he will come into England's central defence in place of Mark Gayee.
07:05There is a possibility Southgate might switch to a back three,
07:07something he hasn't done for three years.
07:09Last time he did that was against Germany in Euro 2020.
07:13It worked. England beat Germany 2-0.
07:15And they do have that option, don't they?
07:17Because it could be, again, I still think it would be Conzer, it would be John Stones.
07:20He's got so few options at left-back in that situation.
07:24Maybe, maybe Bukayo Saka could play left wing-back in the back of the picture there.
07:29Maybe Trent Alexander-Arnold could go to a right wing-back position.
07:33So it is possible that Southgate could go to a back three.
07:37He actually was asked that question by Talksport immediately after the game
07:41against Lucky the other night.
07:43He was asked, could you go with a back three?
07:45And his answer was, let's see.
07:48Read into that what you will.
07:50But yeah, cons sessions I do, a little one-versus-one training with Ed Lee.
07:54Because for me, he's one of the best in the Premier League,
07:56he's better than what I want.
07:57So he improves me and I improve him as well.
08:00So I'm enjoying coming up against him.
08:02A little insight there into how maybe some of the little part shifts
08:05and training routines go on inside the infield
08:10as we come to coming into the mark game.
08:33It could and it would be a good option.
08:35And look, for me, I think that would be a good option.
08:37I think one of England's biggest problems in the tournament so far
08:40is that they've been outgunned in midfield.
08:42They haven't been able to control the ball as much as they would have liked.
08:45I was looking at some of the statistics.
08:47England have had 60% possession on average throughout the tournament,
08:5059.7% in England, extremely accurate.
08:53Only Portugal and Germany have averaged more than that so far.
08:57But England have had more passes than any other nation so far.
09:00So that would suggest they're not progressing the ball through the court as much.
09:05But if they can get an extra body in midfield,
09:08if they can get that natural width with wing-backs by playing three centre-backs,
09:13maybe that's an answer to the problem.
09:16It's not something that's out of God's already thought about for three years,
09:20so it would be a significant change in plan if he were to do that.
09:24But I'm interested to see what they do.
09:27Kobi Mane, though, is the man who's come into that central midfield,
09:31and he's been outstanding there, he has looked,
09:33and that's nicely put him and Conor Gallagher together.
09:36I felt a bit sorry for Conor Gallagher when he got his chance to start
09:40in that third group game against Slovakia.
09:44I thought Gallagher did OK.
09:46I think he did what his job is, which is to show real energy and dynamism
09:50and win the ball back, which he did really quite effectively.
09:54He's not as good a passer as Trent Alexander-Arnold,
09:56he's not as good in terms of recovering the ball as Conor Gallagher,
10:01but he's the best all-rounder of those two that I think England have got.
10:05So I think Southgate has solved that central midfield conundrum.
10:09I do think it's a good move for Southgate,
10:11and I think it's a good move for England,
10:13and I think it's a good move for England,
