00:03with having an affair with an OFW from Cebu.

00:07He also took money from him

00:09after the victim threatened to tell his mister

00:13his modus in stabbing Mark Salazar.

00:20This man was not able to escape from being arrested in Cebu City

00:24following a complaint of sex torture to him.

00:28The modus was to follow the suspect,

00:30get his heart and make his victims fall in love.

00:34Just like what he did to the wife of an OFW.

00:38When they met at the bar, they had an intimate relationship.

00:42And during their relationship, they had a video call

00:46that according to the victim's knowledge,

00:48it was being recorded by the suspect.

00:50These are their video calls with sexual activities

00:54or their intimate moments.

00:56The suspect was afraid of the victim

00:58who will send his mister the video calls

01:02if he won't give him money.

01:04The suspect asked for P200 or P300

01:08which was too much.

01:10That's when the blackmail started.

01:12He even sent it to the victim's family

01:16so the victim decided to report.

01:19We asked for the suspect's statement.

01:21We filed three cases here.

01:24This is Republic Act 9262 or VAUCI Law

01:29and then Republic Act 9995

01:32or Anti-Photo and Video Viarism Act of 2009.

01:38And the other one is Article 294

01:40or Robbery with Intimidation of Person of the Revised Penal Code.

01:44Authorities are reminding them to be careful

01:47and not to trust newcomers.

01:50In the last case of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group,

01:54it was the sextortion of the most number of cases filed against them.

01:58There were 198 cases from January to June this year,

02:02higher than 181 in the same month of the previous year.
