Homelesss Street Angels has seen a rise in homeless people and now there is the added pressure of the summer months.

00:00When the weather is cold, a Yorkshire charity say they see a surge in donations and help for the charity as well as fundraising events, particularly over Christmas and winter months.
00:13And whilst this is still heavily needed, they do say that fundraising and also supplies have been drying up during summer.
00:22Homeless Street Angels have said the summer months, people don't realise, are actually really hard for homeless people because not only do they not have any shelter from the hot weather, but also with people going away, they are incredibly lonely during this period.
00:39Becky and Shelley Joyce, who run the Homeless Street Angels, say they're running out of supplies and often on outreach they've run out before they've even got a third way through the homeless people on the streets of Leeds.
