00:00Can you speak to that more?
00:01Yes, what is your message to voters who saw last night and are seeing the panic coming
00:05from people?
00:06You know, some saying Biden should resign immediately, some saying he shouldn't be the
00:10nominee.
00:11Can you speak to the voters and reassure them that Biden is fit to serve?
00:14Or from your perspective, why is he fit to serve?
00:16And how would you reassure them that he's fit to serve for another four more years or
00:20much less till January?
00:21Well, he's fit to serve because he's been doing a great job as president, and I don't
00:26think anybody has shown or really even argued that he's been unfit in one way or another
00:33based on his performance.
00:34I think he's done a great job of managing the economy.
00:38A lot of tough circumstances, as you mentioned last night, the U.S. economy was flat on its
00:43back after COVID and the Trump presidency.
00:47It's really rebounded in a great way.
00:49I think with respect to foreign policy, he rallied NATO in a way that Donald Trump never
00:54could have done because he alienated most of the European states when he was president.
00:59But President Biden was able to rally them in support of Ukraine, even though for many
01:04countries like Germany, for example, taking a stand against Russia, which provides much
01:11of their oil or did at the time, was tough for them economically, but the president was
01:15able to get them to support it.
01:17And he's got a lot of other policies to, you know, ratcheting down prescription drug prices,
01:22insulin for $35, for example, bringing back chip manufacturing to the United States.
01:28I mean, the infrastructure, building new bridges and roads, I mean, the list goes on and on
01:33of the things that he's done that have been positive for the American people.
01:37We just have to do a better job of getting that message out there and explaining to people
01:41what it is he's done and how it's benefited them.
