00:35It was hot.
00:37It's a great day for a swim,
00:39said Froggy's mother.
00:41So Froggy and his parents flopped outside
00:43to the pond. Flop, flop, flop.
00:49On your mark,
00:51get set, go!
00:53Froggy's father sailed in.
00:55Splash!
00:57Froggy's mother sailed in.
00:59Splash!
01:01But where was Froggy?
01:07Froggy, called his mother.
01:09What?
01:11Come on in and swim.
01:13No, no.
01:15I don't know how to swim.
01:17I want to swing.
01:21Whee!
01:23sang Froggy, swinging higher and higher.
01:25He swung so high,
01:27he almost touched the sky.
01:29He swung so high,
01:31he wound round and round
01:33the crossbar.
01:35Zing!
01:39Then unwound like a spring.
01:41Zing!
01:43And flew through the air.
01:49Right smack into the pond.
01:51Splash!
01:53Splash!
01:55What are you doing?
01:57asked Froggy's mother.
01:59I'm drowning,
02:01cried Froggy.
02:03Help!
02:09He grabbed hold of his mother
02:11and climbed on.
02:13What do you mean you're drowning?
02:15Don't you know frogs are born in the water?
02:17They are great swimmers.
02:19Not me,
02:21said Froggy.
02:23I can't swim.
02:25Oh, fiddlesticks, she said.
02:27I'll show you how.
02:33First, float on your belly
02:35and stick your face in.
02:37I won't let go.
02:39Say bubble, bubble underwater.
02:41Then raise your face for air
02:43and say toot, toot.
02:47I don't want to,
02:49Oh, come on, Froggy.
02:51Just try it.
02:53Repeat after me.
02:55Bubble, bubble, toot, toot.
02:57Bubble, bubble, toot, toot,
02:59spluttered Froggy.
03:03Great!
03:05Now float on your back
03:07and do the frog kick.
03:09I won't let go.
03:11Then go like this.
03:13And she showed Froggy how,
03:15saying chicken, airplane, soldier.
03:17Do it and repeat after me.
03:19Chicken, airplane, soldier.
03:23I don't want to, Froggy whined.
03:25Oh, come on, Froggy.
03:27Just try it.
03:33Chicken, airplane, soldier,
03:35gasped Froggy.
03:37He glubbed and blubbed
03:39and almost sank.
03:41Mommy, I need my flippers.
03:43Then I'll swim.
03:47Froggy climbed out
03:49and flopped back to his house.
03:51He pulled on his flippers.
03:53Zoop!
03:55And flopped back to the pond.
03:57Flop, flop, splash!
04:03Now try it again,
04:05said Froggy's mother.
04:07Bubble, bubble, toot, toot.
04:09Chicken, airplane, soldier.
04:11He glubbed and blubbed
04:13and almost sank.
04:15Mommy, I need my mask and snorkel.
04:17Then I'll swim.
04:23Froggy climbed out
04:25and flopped back to his house.
04:27He pulled on his mask and snorkel.
04:29Zoop!
04:31And flopped back to the pond.
04:33Flop, flop, splash!
04:39Now one more time,
04:41said Froggy's mother.
04:43Bubble, bubble, toot, toot.
04:45Chicken, airplane, soldier.
04:51And then it happened.
04:53Oops, spluttered Froggy.
04:55What's the matter?
04:57asked his mother.
04:59Oh, nothing, he said,
05:01looking more red in the face than green.
05:03Well, it's getting cold, Froggy.
05:05It's time to get out.
05:07No, no, I can't get out.
05:09Why not?
05:13Well...
05:15And he bubbled underwater
05:17while she crawled out.
05:19Then he burst up for air
05:21and yelled, Wait!
05:23What is it? asked his mother.
05:29My bathing suit!
05:31he shouted.
05:33Don't look, I'm getting out.
05:39Froggy climbed out and yanked on his bathing suit
05:41with a zap of elastic.
05:43Then he pulled on his flippers.
05:45Zip!
05:47And sailed back into the pond.
05:49Flop, flop, splash!
05:55Froggy! called his mother.
05:57What?
05:59I told you, it's time to get out.
06:01No, no,
06:03I don't want to get out.
06:05I want to swim.
06:07Froggy's mother shook her head.
06:09I told you frogs were great swimmers,
06:11she said,
06:13and sat down with Froggy's father
06:15to watch him.
06:17And Froggy sang,
06:19Bubble, bubble, toot, toot,
06:21chicken airplane soldier,
06:27all night long.
