00:49NASCAR, Chicago, go!
00:52NBA Draft was last night.
00:55Top three picks, I'm always going to mispronounce this name, probably for the rest of his career.
00:59Zachary Reischerer, he's from France.
01:05Another guy from France, Alex Sarr, went to the Wizards.
01:08Rish Shar went to the Hawks.
01:10And Reed Shepard from Kentucky went to the Rockets.
01:12Only two of the top six picks played college basketball last year.
01:15I believe three of the top six were from France.
01:17Zach Eaddy was drafted by the Grizzlies, ninth overall.
01:21Didn't expect him to go quite that high.
01:22Sixers draft Jared McCain.
01:25His highlight reel was only TikTok dances.
01:27He's like massive on TikTok.
01:29Huge on TikTok, right.
01:30Like millions of followers?
01:31Yeah, millions.
01:32Knicks pick Sean George.
01:35We traded.
01:36No, no, no, they didn't.
01:36We traded the pick.
01:38They traded that pick.
01:40Yeah, that pick was never drafted.
01:41Basically, the only guy they got was the France dude.
01:44The day and five second rounders, right?
01:46Well, no, we went backwards.
01:48One of them went back to 26.
01:49Basically, Leon didn't want to give anyone first round money.
01:53So he's traded out.
01:54And they're trying to bring back Harden.
01:55I'll say, Mr. Harden, you guys got the second round picks
01:57because you guys traded so many first round picks to wisely get McCall Bridges.
02:03And then now you guys have some picks to kind of balance out.
02:05Draft capital.
02:06They're over the next like three years.
02:08They just collect these picks or whatever.
02:10Do they have anything today?
02:12We have two.
02:12We have two today?
02:1338 and 51.
02:14Colics so badly.
02:16That's what I was thinking to him.
02:18They could use a big man.
02:19I think the reason they ended up, they wanted Missy, too.
02:21But no, I think that's ultimately why they ended up just taking the French guy.
02:25I think they were on Holmes was their guy.
02:27I think Missy and Holmes going like right before them.
02:29I think either of those guys there, they would have drafted them in a heartbeat.
02:32They could, with Harnstein probably going, they need another center.
02:35Right.
02:36But I said on Pick Central what you said, that I think the whole plan of them
02:41like doing this, grabbing a stash guy, French guy, that's saying like, maybe
02:45we could free up some money and hopefully we can get some to take
02:49the back so we can give them and not go to the Thunder or whoever else.
02:52Well, Powell's going to have to take a discount, but we'll find out.
02:54Yeah, Brawny's still available.
02:55There's some names out there still.
02:56Yeah, I know nothing about college sports.
02:58Flip didn't get drafted, although I don't think much of him.
03:00But like, he was there.
03:01You think any, if he falls to 38, that you think the Knicks, the problem is,
03:05he can't play defense.
03:06I don't want anything to happen to him.
03:06I don't either.
03:07I'm not crazy about him.
03:08I didn't like him in college.
03:09I didn't see much.
03:10And obviously, there's a tripping thing, whatever you want.
03:13I love the Knicks just kind of needing a big man, even though, like I said,
03:15he can't really defend the big man position, which is kind of what I didn't know.
03:18Maybe I would have.
03:19We still have we still have Mitch.
03:20So I thought maybe he might be in play.
03:22I agree with him.
03:23What's a good team there?
03:24He would fit on.
03:25I mean, he's a guy that's six, 11, seven foot that can shoot threes.
03:30I don't I mean.
03:32I guess that kind of sort of fits.
03:34I feel like connect with that.
03:35That's not in there.
03:35But Dalton connect going to Lakers was a big deal.
03:37You can see, like you said, he's like the most NBA ready.
03:39He's definitely like for what they need.
03:41It's a perfect ad like offense, like probably the best score
03:45coming out of the draft, like that's like polished or whatever.
03:48Like you can just throw him into a rotation and he's going to be knocked down
03:51for them.
03:51Like there's a very good chance of this whole draft.
03:54Like he comes out and people are like, what?
03:56How did this guy go?
03:57What, 17 or wherever the hell he went?
03:58Literally because he's 23 years old.
04:00I think that's the reason.
04:01Lakers were ecstatic that like pulling like couldn't believe that that guy
04:04fell to them and saying Celtics, you know, not me.
04:06Is that same level?
04:07Baylor shot. He saw a lot of people seem high on him
04:10because he's also very NBA ready.
04:11Also, I move 23 years old.
04:13Yeah, very good shooter.
04:14Like really good three point passers or you defend like a whole lot.
04:17But he got decent size to him.
04:19So big. He's a big guy.
04:20He's huge. He's a big two guard to go to state first.
04:23South Dakota. He's a jackrabbit.
04:24Yeah, he went nuts in the tournament and then he went to create
04:27it was very good at creating.
04:28Yeah, I love Castle to the Spurs.
04:31I think that's what I said, too.
04:32We were saying, I think I don't understand why some people don't.
04:35They really the only knock on him
04:37is that he's not an elite three point shooter yet.
04:39We've seen that over and over.
04:41If you work on that, that can absolutely improve.
04:42He can improve.
04:43You can be like a competent to like good three point shooter.
04:46He could be like a really, really good NBA so good defensively.
04:49He's good everywhere else.
04:51Him and Webby on the floor together like that.
04:53That's just to just lock down.
04:55He's a lockdown wing defender can pass, can rebound,
04:59can score, like finish at the rim a little bit.
05:00If he can just get a little bit better three point shooter.
05:03He is like all star potential.
05:04I truly believe it.
05:05I'm telling him.
05:06Dillingham goes to the Wolves now.
05:07People don't know where the head and I think those are two like great
05:11guys to throw into already good offense, just like instant offense for them.
05:14But I mean, people didn't know if Dillingham was going to go like top eight
05:18or like in the 20s.
05:19Like, I feel like his range was crazy.
05:20I feel like early in the process, people were talking about him
05:22going like five or six very early.
05:25He's a legit shooter.
05:26I liked where going to the I wanted him.
05:29He was my like dream Nick situation somehow fell to 24
05:33where I thought was perfect because he's a legit.
05:36He's what everyone would want.
05:37Phillip House can be he's he can legitimately shoot threes.
05:40He's like six, 11, seven foot.
05:42And he can actually defend the rim.
05:43Yeah, he's a true like guy that can defend the rim and like stretch the floor.
05:47Perfect for today's NBA.
05:48The heat are the heat are just good.
05:50I mean, it's a good they just make good sound moves.
05:51I think he's going to be very good saying that there's a second round today.
05:54And like it's a it's a 4 p.m.
05:57at 4 p.m.
05:58I like it's going to be over by the time this this airs.
06:01Yeah. All right.
06:02All right. Hopefully next to have to draft
06:05out of the silver thinking that anyone gives a fuck about the second round.
06:08Like, I guess this year because of Brawny.
06:10I'm a I'm a draft nerd.
06:11I'm I'm I'm an outlier.
06:12I'm like, it's I mean, I do, too.
06:14I like I would have watched it if it was last night.
06:16Today, I'll just like probably follow it on my phone.
06:18See, but it's it's more it's not something it deserves its own day
06:21unless you're doing the high school thing.
06:23You're allowing all the high school kids to come out.
06:24That's what I thought it was going to coincide with.
06:26They're saying it's really it might it might be a brawny thing,
06:30but they're saying it's going to be like a regular thing.
06:32Right. Just like this year,
06:33we believe that the high school rule will kind of go away
06:35and they're going to allow kids to just go and skip college.
06:39I got because that part of me that would flood them with talent.
06:42I kind of think they should.
06:44They should be allowed to. Yes, I do, too.
06:46Kind of back where it was back.
06:47Like it's a little if they fuck up like that's that's on them, I guess.
06:51I don't mean to be like harsh, but I guess it's kind of just the reality of life.
06:53I mean, if you were the real pushback, though,
06:56was the colleges didn't like it back in the day.
06:58Yeah, sure. I guess that's fair.
07:00But but then like over the I mean, now it's going away.
07:02But like the G League thing, the G League,
07:04the Ignite was taking away talent.
07:06Now that's gone.
07:07But but the kind of I love college basketball.
07:09So the talent pool was so shitty the last few years.
07:12And you'll see that you see that now with what?
07:13Two of the top six were just college people.
07:15Three of the top six are from France. Right, right, right.
07:17So hopefully in the next few years, like it's going to be way more
07:22kids from D1 and like the the level of talent will increase
07:26the quality of you better than what it was in like what the 2000s.
07:29Yeah. But also with NIL, like I mean, I can actually make money.
07:33So I think that will help.
07:35Because I think what will happen is when you first do it,
07:37they'll probably will be a few cases that you're going to be like
07:39some sad stories will come out of guys that went when they shouldn't have.
07:42Doesn't work out. Their life doesn't pan out.
07:44But I think you'll see that kind of come back to the mean
07:46where you'll see that happen.
07:48You'll see guys do it less.
07:49And you'll see guys like went to league.
07:51They'll say, oh, good.
07:52Or went to the college.
07:53Say a good experience.
07:54It was they went there, made half a million, million dollars
07:57and developed and went to the pros.
07:58I think an important thing, too, is not to spend so much time on this,
08:01but it's NBA teams telling everyone like, yo, we'd rather you be polished.
08:06Now, we don't care.
08:06You're coming out of 23 years old now.
08:08I'm pretty sure Caravan from UConn went back
08:10because he was told in the draft process that, hey,
08:12we're going to draft you next year.
08:13We don't care. You're you're older.
08:15Get a little better and then you will be taken in the lottery.
08:17You're totally right.
08:18But it's like because I think I do think what you said is true.
08:21But then you see like Don connect. Sure.
08:23We're like basically they said if he was if he was his who he is,
08:27but like 20, he would have went top.
08:29He would have been like a top like five pick.
08:30Yeah, that's that's fair.
08:31But he wouldn't be who he was.
08:33No, I agree with you 100 percent.
08:34And it's actually going to end up working out for him
08:35because he's going to, you know, a competitive team.
08:38He's going to get playing time like he's going to be better off there.
08:41I feel like that a way shittier team.
08:43And I wouldn't say the Lakers that good.
08:44And he's JJ Reddick's wet dream.
08:46Yeah, Reddick said he was drawing up plays for him yesterday.
08:48Yeah. What I'm talking about is Mets Yankees.
08:52Tough series for the Yankees.
08:54Mets win both.
08:56It's a whole blog on this.
08:57Yankees are two and eight in the last ten games.
08:59They've really been kind of hitting for the first time this year,
09:01really having a tough time.
09:02Mets on the flip side have been playing lights out eight into the last ten.
09:06They're back to five hundred.
09:08Empire State was lit up purple for Grimace.
09:10And then during the during the last night's rain delay,
09:13there was a giant Grimace chugging beers in the concourse.
09:22It's an unreal video.
09:23I went to the game on Tuesday, excuse me,
09:26and there were a number of grimaces running around.
09:29It was a fun sight to see.
09:32I mean, it's fun to, like, grab hold of something like this and just let it go.
09:35Like grimaces.
09:36I mean, I'm not the same jealous, but like it is cool.
09:39It's silly and stupid and fun.
09:40Yeah, it's good. I'm mad.
09:42Yeah, I guess the I'm not I think hubs would agree.
09:46I have not said a single word of talking trash to any Yankee fans about this series.
09:49I mean, at the end of the day,
09:51any Yankee fan can just point to the standings and be like, see where we are
09:53and see what also like we are.
09:54I am very aware of their issues.
09:56I wrote about them five days ago.
09:58I just wrote about them again today.
09:59Like and they're rearing their ugly head more and more every day.
10:02Their lineup after Judge Volpe, Soto, Judge is great.
10:06Fourth through nine is abysmal.
10:07Like there's no.
10:08Renegro is not horrific.
10:09I know he's struggling right now, but it's a short term.
10:11At the end of the day, though, he's a league average bat.
10:13Like, yes, isn't it?
10:13Right. Hundred OPS.
10:14No, he's a great defender.
10:16And that value is so much for the Yankees where left field.
10:19They were clueless the last like four or five years since Gardner left.
10:22But, you know, you can't rely.
10:24Like he's a seven hitter.
10:25He's not a four or five. I couldn't agree more.
10:27You know, so so when he goes on these skids as a four or five or you're fucked.
10:31So what happened?
10:32So what where did the Yankees now?
10:34What really fucked them is Giancarlo's injury coinciding with Dominguez
10:37being hurt because Dominguez this whole time was marinating
10:40coming off of the Tommy John.
10:41Be like, hey, whenever you're ready to go,
10:43you know, whenever someone gets hurt, you're going to be right in there.
10:46And the moment Giancarlo goes down, who was being productive
10:49in the middle of the lineup, you didn't have Dominguez.
10:51So now you have J.D. Davis.
10:53Life comes at you faster than you have to have J.D.
10:55Davis, D.H. and clean and clean.
10:57That's fucking brutal because there's not many.
10:59Spencer Jones isn't going to be ready in 2025 as many as people want to.
11:02So they're in a rut right now.
11:04It really hurts that Gleyber Torres is being this version of himself.
11:07Also, the starting pitching has been tough.
11:09I'm not as worried about that.
11:10Rodon's been getting shelled.
11:11Two starts his whole season.
11:13But your whole but the whole Yankee success has been incredible, outrageous
11:18Hall of Fame level starting pitching.
11:20But that was bound to it was bound to regress.
11:22I don't think they're as bad as they were now.
11:24Now, Nestor and Stroman have continued to be rock solid.
11:27Stroman's last start against the Braves was outstanding.
11:29Cole, I'm not as worried about.
11:30We talked about it yesterday.
11:31I think he's just truly in training mode and it's going to take him some time.
11:35He'll if he has another bad start, then I'll begin to get concerned
11:39because then it's like, are you getting tired?
11:40Is this he said he's fully strong, fully healthy last night.
11:42So we'll see. Maybe it's just, you know, it happens.
11:44Sometimes, you know, the league gets a scatter on.
11:47You've got to adjust back to that.
11:48Rodon is concerning because his strikeout numbers are no longer
11:52the same as they were when he was a giant.
11:54So the White Sox, whatever he's pitching a contact.
11:56So when he doesn't have location, he gets fucking shelled
11:59like he did the last two starts.
12:01Remains to be seen.
12:02So I think the rotation isn't as big of a problem as the bullpen is a disaster.
12:06And they've been too much dumpster diving.
12:08And they'd actually go get real arms.
12:09And and hopefully Scott Efros coming off the aisle is good.
12:12I'm sorry. I'm boring everyone, the Yankees right now.
12:14But they have issues to fix.
12:17The four through nine is the biggest issue in the whole team, I think.
12:20And that's hard to fix.
12:21The clay brush just kind of snap out of it.
12:23And I don't know if he's going to.
12:24He looked miserable last night getting benched.
12:26Are you scared of the Orioles now?
12:27I've always been.
12:28There's if you weren't aware of the Orioles before.
12:31Now the Orioles have their own problems, too, with their starting
12:33position, like giant issues.
12:35Now their lineup is going to be incredible
12:36and they'll always be able to lean on that.
12:37But their bullpen starting pitching are also issues.
12:40And they just saw that with Houston and Cleveland, two teams.
12:43Oddly enough, the Yankees have handled this year, Houston and Cleveland.
12:45But then the Orioles go play.
12:47It's that's how baseball is just really stupid.
12:49The Orioles beat everyone and then they just can't beat those teams.
12:51The Yankees are seemingly can't beat anyone right now.
12:53They've handled the Astros.
12:55Speaking as a fan, I'm excited, nervously excited.
12:58They are thirty nine and thirty nine.
12:59We're a game and a half out of the wildcard.
13:01The good news is we were we had to climb over seven teams
13:03to kind of get where we are, believe it or not.
13:05So now we are that next team up in that wildcard race.
13:07So much time.
13:08Like, I almost like like I know the Yankees are one up on the Orioles
13:11and one of the Mets are right in it.
13:12And are you a third wildcard yet?
13:14Are you with a four or four?
13:15I said, look, there's always the date that I set.
13:18Like, OK, this is what I'm going to look at.
13:19We are. We are. We're right there.
13:21But like, it's still it's still so like I don't
13:24to talk about the teams you need to jump in in the late June is still so.
13:27Well, we just did it, though.
13:28You want to be in the mix. You're in the mix.
13:29We're in the mix. And but we do have some issues.
13:32By the way, I've heard so much shit about Vientos from Mets fans.
13:34It's just good. You can't play defense.
13:36All right. But you know what?
13:37He can he can hit the hell out of the ball.
13:38He can match.
13:39Do we have some starting pitching issues?
13:41We have to go out.
13:42You know, I think both of our teams, you know, trade deadlines coming up,
13:45you know, a month away.
13:46I think you're going to see some teams start making some moves.
13:48I'm excited for that.
13:49Yeah. Like you guys won't sell, I guess, anymore, right?
13:51Like, I guess I can't imagine obvious that like Severino was.
13:54I wrote a blog about how we needed to trade.
13:56You know, until now, it's like a better hold.
13:57Although now you enter the purgatory because like, I know,
14:00are you really a World Series?
14:02You know, can you like is this is a great run you're on in these ten games?
14:05But like, well, it's been more than that.
14:06OK, OK, whatever.
14:07The last entire last month has been good.
14:09But like now, I guess you still do have time until a deadline.
14:11But now you have to decide.
14:13Like, it's very easy.
14:14July 1st to July 22nd, Mets play very easy schedule.
14:17Last time we talked about schedule with the Mets, it was that last year.
14:19Yeah, but most of the time.
14:21No, I hear you're saying it's just an interesting decision.
14:23You have to come across like what team are we?
14:25And the Mets are kind of you have no idea.
14:27Let's talk part of my cheesesteak.
14:29Part of my cheesesteak has pardoned my cheesesteak.
14:31Easy for me to say.
14:33Has just announced another new limited time item to the menu this week.
14:38The buffalo tender loaded fries.
14:41We take our classic chicken strips that are fried,
14:43chopped and then tossed in buffalo sauce.
14:46They are then tossed in golden brown onto golden brown fries with cheese sauce,
14:51all topped with ranch dressing and chopped pickles.
14:54Get it now nationwide at part of my cheesesteaks.
14:56Fifteen hundred locations.
14:59We've also been adding a bunch of new menu items these last couple of weeks.
15:02We just wrote out the buffalo tender sub, which has already become very popular.

15:53Not awesome.
15:54NBC is using A.I.
15:56Al Michael to A.I.
15:58like an A.I.
15:59Al Michaels to voice over Olympic highlight packages for this year's
16:03Summer Olympics in Paris.
16:04NBC has announced it will be recreating Al Michaels voice using A.I.
16:08and using it to deliver daily recaps of Summer Olympic Games on Peacock.
16:13Al Michaels, by the way, still live, still broadcasting games.
16:16You can use the real man.
16:18But instead, they're going to use A.I.
16:19and further dilute the soul of our world.
16:24Terrifying.
16:24I when I initially thought about this, I was thinking,
16:28are they allowed to do this without his permission?
16:30But they do have his permission.
16:31They do.
16:31And I'd imagine him allowing this.
16:34Essentially, they were like, hey, you want to get paid
16:37and we'll just we'll just take care of everything.
16:39So that sounds great to me.
16:40Al Michaels has never turned down a dollar.
16:42Al Michaels quote.
16:44When I was approached by this, I was skeptical, but obviously curious.
16:48You can read between the lines there.
16:50Then I saw a demonstration dealing detailing what they had in mind.
16:53I said, I'm in.
16:54And then immediately ran to the bank.
16:55That's what they were like.
16:56Wait a second.
16:57You'll you'll pay me the same amount of money you're going to pay me.
16:59You're like me more.
17:00Just maybe more.
17:01Maybe more.
17:02Even if it was like just like a hair less.
17:04But even if that was the case, what are we doing?
17:06And like what precedent is right?
17:07Like, so let's not pretend to get upset about this.
17:09Is anyone going to watch Summer Olympic Games recap videos?
17:12Not one of us.
17:13Well, I'm not.
17:14So, no, I am upset about it, but not for that reason.
17:16Right. No, I was upset for that reason.
17:18No, I don't give a I don't give a fuck.
17:20I'm not going to watch the Olympics.
17:21It's setting the precedent of what's to come.
17:23That's terrifying.
17:24And it's like it's like cheap, too.
17:26Like if you listen to the clip, like it's just a monotone.
17:29Al Michael, it does sound like him, obviously.
17:31But like they wouldn't put out if it didn't.
17:32But like there's nothing special about it.
17:34They're just throwing it away.
17:36Right. It's like, oh, we have to do these clips
17:37and we don't want to trouble Al.
17:38And we want to, you know, whatever.
17:40Here's the eye. That's terrifying.
17:41Like that's going to lead to laziness.
17:42And that's a terrible precedent.
17:44Like, are we going to get eventually like brought
17:47entire sports broadcast?
17:48I like think about it.
17:49So like a random, like ESPN plus college football game.
17:53That's not Premier or whatever.
17:54Like we're just going to get is that like Herbstreit AI?
17:57But not even like like some some of those voices.
18:00Like you can't put faces, too.
18:02So like it's going to be random names down the future
18:04that like they're going to disguise and it's going to be AI.
18:08Like similar to like, you know, Dave, when he first started
18:09the website, like he wrote under like eight different names. Right.
18:12Right. Right. Right.
18:13Like, is that what's going to happen?
18:14Well, we're just going to hear random.
18:15We're going to see a random name and it's just going to be an AI voice.
18:17And we won't know the difference because we're really.
18:19Oh, OK, I see.
18:20Like, it's stripped all the personality.
18:22Do you think you can think they could really ever get to that point?
18:24Yes. It was like this.
18:26I'm saying exactly what Hubbs described, where it's literally like a fake.
18:28Yes. Yeah. That'd be crazy.
18:30I think that would be horrible.
18:31Right around the corner.
18:32That'd be horrible.
18:34I think, you know, an ESPN or whatever would see that as,
18:37you know, this is a way to cut corners.
18:40Of course, that would be.
18:41It's all about it's all that bottom line to your shareholders.
18:43I'll tell you what I need to pay you.
18:45We're going to be McAfee.
18:46One hundred and fifty million.
18:47Well, this is how we allow that to happen.
18:49I'll tell you what, I I definitely could see them doing that for like
18:53for the ESPN plus like basketball types. Yeah.
18:57So I guess in theory, football, basketball, you get some real deep cuts
19:00of like, right. It was like like Vermont versus like American.
19:04I'm like a Tuesday night.
19:05It could be.
19:05And you almost wonder, like, what is only the gamblers, like only
19:09the like wonder, like what has led this person to be calling this game right now?
19:12Correct. That's how low it gets.
19:13And yeah, like down the road. Is that just a throwaway?
19:16Yeah, I guess you're right.
19:17I guess I'm seeing your vision a little more.
19:18Patriot League games or whatever.
19:20The Ivy League, something like that.
19:21Like, yeah, where you're just hearing.
19:23So this is how we consume media, whether it be television, Internet, whatever.
19:26Are they going to use AI of people that we have a relationship with?
19:30I love Al Michael.
19:31I don't like is my favorite sportscaster of all time.
19:33Are they going to manipulate our kind of our heartstrings
19:36and then shove a soulless voice in our face?
19:39And that's pretty bullshit.
19:41Yeah. Not a fan.
19:43We got an AI. It's weird and terrifying.
19:45I love Alan Iverson.
19:46Further, how AI is taking over the world and AI can just do anything like for
19:50like you can just AI is ready for like you don't have to pay a premium for AI.
19:55Like we can all get it for free.
19:56Like it's just slowly but surely taking over the most expensive part
19:59of most businesses is paying your employees where you have benefits.
20:02You have all these things.
20:03Human beings are an expensive thing to hire and and to keep employed.
20:07And if you can use AI, you know, these companies are going to cut.
20:10It's a dangerous world. I'm glad I'm old.
20:12Texas A&M baseball coach keeps getting dragged by a team.
20:16Texas A&M baseball coach left for Texas this week
20:19immediately after declaring in a press conference that he would never leave.
20:23They talked about this a little on The Unnamed Show today.
20:25Interview with College Stations, the Eagle, Texas A&M player
20:28Travis Chestnut said, I'm blown away by the disrespect of Schlossnagel.
20:33That's the coach.
20:34Not once in my career was he a respectable man to me.
20:38I stuck with him because I wanted to be an Aggie in the SEC.
20:41The SEC, SEC, I'm assuming.
20:43John doesn't have. Wow. All right.
20:46I read it prior to in my head.
20:48I already figure that had to be the SEC, but we see we're alive already.
20:52But quite frankly, I didn't stick to him.
20:54I stuck to Mike Early and Nolan Kane, assistant coaches.
20:58Most of the other players have made bailed comments on social media as well.
21:02And then, yeah.
21:03And then we had our Texas A&M viceroy Ben DiGiulio controversy
21:07that seems to have kind of once we find out the viceroy kind of censored himself.
21:11I feel like it's kind of a dare.
21:12Very censored. He's like, I can't control myself.
21:14Right. Like just calling him.
21:15I'm so enraged by this coach.
21:17I'm a problem.
21:18They deleted the tweet.
21:19The tweet is like, you fuck you, you fucking slugbag, like piece of shit.
21:22It's like Rico, like snap. Yeah.
21:25But I want to I live with Ben through over a few years.
21:28Great guy. Great, great guy.
21:30I know he would never just Boston.
21:32Yes. His father's like the man.
21:34That's a whole lot.
21:35But yeah, it showed up.
21:35Ben, Ben, Benny did good people.
21:38U.S. national football team lost to Japan 41 to 20.
21:42We're talking about this right before we jumped on.
21:43What do we think? It's like 20 year old.
21:46It's a huge 20. It's a lot of, you know, younger college players.
21:51I think there's maybe a lot of like D2, D3.
21:53It's like a club team or something like that.
21:55But I did find an article that people like they've been doing this since 2009
21:59and Trevon Diggs has played on that team.
22:01Wow. Matthew, Jordan Poyer, Jonathan Taylor, DeAndre Swift.
22:05So they have had players.
22:07I don't how old they have when they played on that team.
22:10It's under 20, under 20.
22:11I think like they got to be high school, though.
22:12No, right. Like, because I'm thinking guys of their caliber.
22:15Like, there's no way
22:17Tyron Matthew at LSU was allowed to go play in this right thing.
22:21But no chance like a middle school.
22:22Tyron Matthew was letting him play.
22:25I kind of I tend to agree with you.
22:27Yeah. You know, almost why would he when he's about to get a full ride to LSU
22:30with like NFL aspirations, why would he do that? Right.
22:32They lost. Why would he go crazy at 21?
22:35Who's the coach? Fire him. Don't let him coach anyone.
22:38I honestly I got to be honest.
22:39My first when I saw this circulating yesterday,
22:41I just I thought it was flag football football until about 27 minutes ago.
22:45Yeah. Like I just I was like, no way Japan beat us in legitimate football.
22:50Apparently they did.
22:51But I have to imagine these are like club club players.
22:55Like, no, no serious player is playing in this.
22:59There can't be. It just can't be.
23:00I don't even know how you find out the play in this.
23:02Like, I didn't recognize any of the names when I went.
23:05No, there's no way they got to be guys who can't be probably not even D2 level
23:10like high school kids that like want to play D2.
23:13I would think I don't even back up high school kids.
23:16That's I'm spinning. Right.
23:16So if they don't care, why should we care?
23:21If the U.S. national team doesn't care to put out a good roster, why should we?
23:24It's just how are you going to get a good roster
23:26when the serious players are just going to go play like D1 college football?
23:31Right. Who won't allow it?
23:32Like who wouldn't who would say we're like we're about to essentially
23:35especially now we're like we're about to pay you. Right.
23:37Come here and play. Like, why would you go play for this nonsense?
23:39You know, we got to do now, similar to how we're attacking
23:41the basketball Olympics now, send their best guys next time. Fuck it.
23:45We're just sending like the Kansas City Chiefs are going to.
23:48Yeah, right. Yeah.
23:48Pamela Holmes is back there.
23:51This is a weird story.
23:53Man in pregnancy, wife's twin sister as a surprise gift.
23:58A man who is married to a woman with an identical twin
24:01had sex with her twin sister as a, quote, surprise gift.
24:05End quote. The man's wife had been having fertility issues.
24:09They've been trying to get pregnant for the last six years.
24:11The wife's identical twin does not have fertility problems.
24:15So as a surprise gift, the husband got the twin pregnant.
24:18So the wife could have a baby of her own.
24:20They claim it's the same thing as surrogacy
24:22because the twin sisters have the same genes.
24:24One small problem.
24:25The wife was not happy with the surprise.
24:27Does not believe it's the same thing.
24:28People are speculating the pregnancy was unintentional.
24:31And it's really trying to play off the baby as a gift
24:33when reality is an accident, which seems like the most obvious.
24:37Occam's razor.
24:38The most the most obvious answer usually is.
24:39I respect the creativity.
24:41I respect the creativity.
24:43I and spin this.
24:44But I mean, it's the most obvious. He just cheated on his. Yes.
24:48They're both.
24:49How shitty is this?
24:51They're both scumbags.
24:52They're both like that.
24:53You know, the state that this happened in.
24:55That's very like the the husband.
24:57Complete piece of shit.
24:58The sister is evil.
25:01Yeah, maybe worse. You might be right.
25:02She might be worse.
25:03I kind of put them both probably in very similar.
25:05Oh, I think your sister.
25:06That's like you're you're probably nine levels.
25:08You probably are right.
25:09If I had to pick the one that's worse, it probably is the sister.
25:13Also, like I see she's like, that's how she announced it was on TikTok.
25:16I that's a weird. Oh my God.
25:18I would just not tell anyone.
25:19No. Yeah, I don't need to.
25:21You're right. Sometimes you just don't say it's going viral.
25:24We're talking about it clearly.
25:25But if that's your goal, sure, she has a fucking ton of views.
25:29But I just wouldn't say this out loud.
25:31I don't see the state, but she did have a southern accent.
25:34OK, that makes a little more sense.
25:37Also, do you think cheating with a twin sister is cheating?
25:41Yeah. Oh, yeah. No, but I think that's like.
25:43But do you think that's like the worst person you could cheat with?
25:47Yeah, the same. Well, not the way it's
25:50it's the same person you're not about to try to pay exact same person.
25:53Like there's nothing new.
25:54Almost like nothing.
25:55She like, would you cheat on someone that like it's
25:58like someone that looks just like me?
25:59Like, for example, I guess if you were like, oh, like you were like
26:03voluptuous, bright, you cheated with like a petite blonde. Right.
26:05As opposed to like, oh, you're cheating with someone that looked exactly like her.
26:08Nothing new. I understand the picture.
26:09You're like, right.
26:11He has a type. We know that.
26:14Maybe then maybe we do believe them then because it's like, what's the point?
26:17No, no, this guy.
26:20Maybe it was.
26:20No, I disagree. I think this guy is so evil and so shitty.
26:23He he like he wants to fuck over his wife so bad.
26:26This is the easiest. This is the worst way to do it.
26:29These people are evil.
26:30This is an evil act because it destroys the whole family.
26:34Oh, yeah. Like the parents.
26:36It's having other siblings.
26:37There's going to be a death. Someone will die.
26:39Imagine he just he just ends up with the sister.
26:42I mean, yeah, they just end up like together.
26:44Like they just like we just have a kid.
26:45Let's just like Rob, let's do this thing.
26:48Oh, boy. This movie is like that.
26:51You're probably fine online.
26:51That I mean, if you want to like Lou Will, this thing,
26:54you think of it like a little bit, a little bit of this, a little bit of that.
26:56Not just like two of the same.
26:58God damn. After show.
27:01Nothing. All right.
27:02Do you guys have anything?
27:04Julio thing. Yeah.
27:05Ben Julio thing.
27:07You know, actually, one thing I'm very fascinated with is the Nicki Smokes thing.
27:10So Nicki Smokes, the 5000 T-shirts were delivered today in Miami.
27:14He got the boxes and there's many boxes of them.
27:17Because 5000 is a fuckton.
27:19We actually we just we debated on Pixar how many boxes it would be.
27:23We have our answer from what he posted.
27:24Seventeen. Yeah.
27:26I mean, he had 17 boxes, not quite a pallet.
27:28OK, we were talking about that yesterday.
27:30It's how many shirts would really there are big boxes.
27:32I was talking. So there's 144 shirts in the big boxes.
27:35Apparently, I counted seven from what it was from the video he posted.
27:40I counted 17 by 17.
27:43Um, I thought I was 17.
27:45Like, just think about this from a perspective.
27:47Like this parade's on Sunday, correct?
27:49Or on Saturday. 5000 by 17 is 300.
27:52When is the parade?
27:53Saturday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday.
27:55OK, so he has until now, until Sunday.
27:57That's his only chance.
27:57Then no one is getting.
27:58What happens on Monday when you have 3000?
28:00I said his his like saving grace would be somehow a player
28:04like chips in and buys a bunch of them.
28:07So if you do the math, that's the 30 bucks a T-shirt.
28:09That's one hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
28:12So it's all you can buy yourself out of this mess, right?
28:15Like he's fucked.
28:16Can he set up a way online to buy them?
28:18Because they took him off of the store.
28:20They have to shit.
28:21They use a lot of swearing at the credit card.
28:24Square readers.
28:24So you put in a QR code.
28:28So you can then wear readers in a QR code.
28:33You know, I'm saying like then it's a whole nother ball.
28:35Actually, also, what's the 5000 T-shirts?
28:37I worked in sales.
28:38We had a ship shipping.
28:39You're handing it to them.
28:40No, but he's saying a Venmo.
28:41You could write you the Venmo thing, too.
28:43But like, well, that's just another way of paying.
28:44Right. Correct.
28:45Still handing it. I don't think he's right.
28:46He's saying it was off a table and like reached out to him.
28:49All right. You're saying you can't even do that.
28:52I think he needs a rich.
28:53He needs to find a couple of rich Miami guys to go through.
28:55Like basically what Hubs said.
28:56But doesn't doesn't have to be a player.
28:58I guess chiclets guys want to just like create chaos with Dave.
29:02This is one hundred and fifty dollars.
29:04And I said it's not just going to charity.
29:05Like this is a hundred and fifty thousand dollar problem.
29:08Just putting it in.
29:09Dave's like you're helping just a richer guy.
29:11Another side of it, too, is this would be a tough task for our smartest employees.
29:17We're talking about the bottom of the barrel here.
29:20Having to. Yeah, I told me I'm on the barrel.
29:22Tell I'm talking brains.
29:24He's he's dumb.
29:25I said I told him I told him to say I think he's the dumbest person in the company.
29:28Right. Like a content.
29:29So what I'm saying is I like I like the kid a lot.
29:31That's very funny.
29:32But like, you know, a very smart person.
29:34This is nearly an impossible task to attend.
29:37I don't know how.
29:38So how long I was in sales for 15 years,
29:40I would be shitting my brains out of anxiety.
29:43There's no there's no way to logistically do this.
29:46So I think he's going to be doing this up until like Miami Dolphins games.
29:49Like how this will take so long to get done if he's truly not allowed.
29:53Only way he has an out is if Dave says, hey, you can sell it for ten dollars.
29:56You can sell it for five.
29:57Well, that's what I was going to say.
29:58Is there a limit to how low we can go on the price?
30:01Has that been discussed?
30:02Have they had any talk about that?
30:04Whether he sell them for ten dollars, can he sell them for twenty dollars?
30:07Like what's the.
30:08So how much is each shirt?
30:09Yeah. So basically he looks like 27 minutes ago.
30:12He tweeted, if you want to preorder a shirt, DM me size and quality
30:16like he's going to try to do it online quantity, quantity.
30:19And then 14 minutes ago he said new plan.
30:21That was the most hectic minutes.
30:23Ten minutes of my life.
30:24If you want 50 or more shirts, you can preorder.
30:27If not, just meet me in person.
30:28So he bailed on doing that.
30:30Basically what I said, this is one of the dumber people that have to do this.
30:33Like he came up with a plan ten minutes later.
30:35Worst idea ever.
30:36Did he even think about the logistics and cost of shipping these things?
30:38No. Like how many like you have to have a whole like I did this for a living.
30:42You have to have a kidding department
30:43to put these into boxes and and have the right addresses.
30:46And you have to work with them.
30:48You know, either fax or UPS or whatever DHL.
30:51This is a whole this is a thing.
30:53Thirty two dollars. I was wrong.
30:54It's even more than a hundred thousand.
30:56Like he's fucked.
30:58It's a hundred and sixty thousand dollar problem.
31:00I wish him all the best.
31:01I don't know how many.
31:02And it's easy.
31:03I mean, he's going to get some help.
31:04He's going to get some help.
31:06He's going to need like numerous people.
31:08Yes. That he either pays a few hundred dollars in a pocket or whatever.
31:12It's going to take whatever he's got to do to come out and get some help.
31:15He's going to need a few people out there slinging these shirts.
31:17There's no way you can do it all himself.
31:18He's got to study the Dana Beers method of how.
31:21Remember, Dana just sold a bunch of fucking merch years ago.
31:24How do you do it?
31:25I. Well, but he got to move.
31:27He got like a movement going. Right.
31:28But I'm saying that's that's the only way to do.
31:31He has to get some sort of movement going where he like.
31:33And it's not just like.
31:34But also there's when like it's got to be organically like something
31:37to rally around Nikki with.
31:39He was also rallying them to the point people were getting behind the measure
31:41of like, oh, like you're going to get this money that it was.
31:43He's donate the charity.
31:45He sold. I guess Nikki's about 100 shirts.
31:47Good start, I guess.
31:49That's all right.
31:50You know, it's a great start.
31:51I think it's a good start.
31:52Like I'm like off the rip. I think it's good start.
31:54I would say that Nikki is a funny, charismatic guy.
31:58I bet he'd be good in sales.
32:00So I bet he could sell a lot of these more.
32:01So that's one thing he has in his favor.
32:03The negative thing is, like you said, his intellect.
32:05As far as like shipping and the logistics, I think it's a nightmare.
32:07Plus, he's a young kid.
32:08I don't even know what the fuck he's doing.
32:09And also like he really has till Sunday.
32:11Once the parade's over, it's fucked.
32:13Like no one's going to want to wear like that.
32:16No one's going to buy one, at least.
32:17No, there's no excitement. Right, right.
32:19There really was no excitement in general.
32:20It's a Florida hockey team.
32:22And they don't even play in Miami.
32:24They play 20, 30 miles away from Miami.
32:26Yeah. Isn't it like somewhere in South Florida?
32:29Not even in Fort Lauderdale.
32:30It's like west of Fort Lauderdale by a little bit.
32:33Sunrise, Florida.
32:35Jesus Christ.
32:36I am rooting for him.
32:38I hope he can sell the shirts. Good luck.
32:39I like you said, is he going to be in?
32:41We're not going to see him in the Chicago office or any office until,
32:44you know, November football season.
32:46You don't say football season is like the over under to me.
32:48And I would take the over at this point.
32:51You know, it's like to my now I'm I have to go to every week
32:54for a college football show and there's a reference.
32:55So hopefully I'll see him then. Yeah.
32:57Yeah. So I hope. Yeah.
32:59By September, he's back.
33:00His punishment is to stay in Florida.
33:03So it's like I almost wish in the summer, though.
33:06OK, but like he could be in the middle of fucking nowhere.
33:09That's true. Nothing to do.
33:10Like, you know, I don't want to say a random state
33:12because we love a random states in the Midwest.
33:14But like, I don't know.
33:15He could be anywhere for his apartment.
33:18Yes. Here's his life in Chicago.
33:20OK, like everything there.
33:21So I'm guessing he's a parent.
33:23Like after a couple of weeks, I'd be like, I want to go fucking back home.
33:25And that's a work. It's not ideal.
33:27But I'm saying there could be worse places to like be stuck.
33:29That's true. That's true. That's true.
33:31That's true. Look at that.
33:32Hobbes, for once in your life, positivity, optimist.
33:35I'm trying my best.
33:36What a good luck. Can I give him hell?
33:38This is our last rundown. Sell those shirts.
33:40Yeah, I hope everyone has a great, great break.
33:42Any plans? I'm going to Denver.
33:43I'm going to a bunch of Rockies games.
33:44I'm going to go to Red Rocks. I'm very excited.
33:46OK, that feels a good place for you.
33:48Why? I don't know.
33:50I just like I've never seen the Red Rocks for you.
33:52Just feels like a good spot to be awesome.
33:54Seeing the Ava brothers.
33:55Yeah, going to A.C. this weekend.
33:57Going to be down the shore for the week.
33:58That's a good place for.
33:59I'm a down the shore guy. Yeah, I love the shore.
34:01I got a few days in Newport ahead of me.
34:04That's about it. Nice.
34:05I like Newport. I'm very excited.
34:06I've never been to Rhode Island. I've never been there.
34:08Never been there? Very nice.
34:09I've been to Rhode Island. It's very nice. Very nice.
34:11Yeah, looking forward to it. Very nice. It should be cool.
34:13All right. Well, have a great July 4th, everyone.
34:15And we'll be back in a week, right?
34:17Or a week and we can change.
34:19Yeah, we can have. All right.
34:20God bless.
