00:00Houston Astros, who before yesterday, were not to an even 500 the entirety of the year,
00:11but after a 7-1 win yesterday against a team in the Colorado Rockies, as you would expect
00:17with the Astros a minus 188 favorite, and their seventh consecutive victory, Houston,
00:23and even 500 for the first time this year, 40 and 40 for the Stros.
00:29They are supposed to be buried at this point right now, but again, it's not a 16-game season,
00:34a 17-game season like in the NFL.
00:36It's 162.
00:37You're going to be bad, you're going to be good, but for really the first two and a half months,
00:40they were a bad baseball team.
00:41Like, they're ready to throw in the towel.
00:43Also, this win streak is not coming when, Ben, we typically say like,
00:47hey, they got all their players back now.
00:48Now it's time to, they're losing players on a day-to-day basis,
00:51cutting players that they owe millions and millions and millions of dollars to,
00:55and they're actually playing better right now.
00:56Arrighetti hasn't been a great pitcher, seven innings pitch, three hits, no earned runs,
01:0010 Ks yesterday, and that's from a guy that has an ERA coming in probably around six at that point,
01:04which is now slightly below that six number, but you're supposed to beat the teams like
01:08the Colorado Rockies at home, which is what they're doing, but two weeks ago,
01:12I'm done with this baseball team.
01:13I still think I'm done with them, but at the point they're 40 and 40 now,
01:16it just makes me laugh because they do have that championship pedigree as an organization,
01:20but unless they make major moves, sooner or later, they're going to go on a losing streak because why?
01:24They're just not good enough in the pitching staff right now.
