00:09According to the President, it cannot be left out that there is no branch of the Department of Education

00:17Meanwhile, the Executive Board said that Vice President Sara Duterte did not give a reason

00:23for her resignation from DepEd and as Vice Co-Chair of NTF-ELCAC.

00:30I asked her if there were any particular reasons why she has chosen to resign from the Department

00:41of Education and from the NTF-ELCAC and she said, let's not talk about it.

00:46So, I did not force the issue.

00:51Well, you know, we have to carry on and the Department of Education is

00:55quite possibly, arguably, the most important department because education is that important.

01:03So, no matter the change of leadership within the department, we still have to carry on.

01:08So, we are now at today's, I will probably be able, I would like to be able to

01:18announce the appointment of the new DepEd Secretary by the end of the week.
