00:00We caught a hostage taking in Cagayan, De Oro City.

00:05In front of a house, he saw a man who seemed to be riding a woman.

00:09He had a knife in his hand that he was stabbing the woman's body.

00:14The suspect asked for a ride home to Lanao del Norte.

00:18He was convinced by the authorities to ride in a patrol car, but he was still with the woman hostage.

00:24When the suspect noticed the police around him, he got angry and started a fight.

00:29A few moments later, the police chased the hostage taker.

00:33The victim, who was injured, was saved.

00:37One of the police responding was also injured.

00:40The suspect was arrested.

00:42He was not caught by the police because he was not calm.

00:47He will be under psychiatric examination.

00:50The suspect will face a case of frustrated murder.
