00:00A man who claims to be a middleman for the projects of Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority has been arrested and is asking for a place in the contractor.

00:09The SBMA is conducting its own investigation and we have the first news from John Consulta.

00:17The NBI's target was shocked when he entered an establishment in Paranaque.

00:23The complainant paid him P150,000 and asked for goodwill money.

00:30According to the NBI, the group allowed the contractor to win in exchange for 5% of the project's value in the SBMA.

00:39Our subject asked for P150,000 first.

00:44So we arranged the P150,000 and then we followed the complainant.

00:52We broke the entrapment.

00:54According to the NBI, the suspect has accomplices.

00:58We heard who he was talking to and we saw who his transaction was.

01:03So as of the moment, our investigation is ongoing.

01:07We have electronic evidence against a certain official of SBMA.

01:13In a text message, the SBMA spokesman said that they are conducting their own internal investigation

01:20and they promised to help the authorities who are conducting the investigation.

01:26We are trying to get a statement from the suspect who is already in jail in the detention facility of the NBI in the Philippines.
