00:00Coach, we've been watching for the past couple weeks, these odds are moving left and right for
00:04the number one overall pick, and that's going to continue today and also has happened multiple
00:08times. Opening up the show at a minus 390 price was Zachary Resache. He went up to a 550 over
00:14the break, now he's back down to a minus 480 price to be the number one overall pick. What
00:19are we going to see today? And also, is this going to be one of those where you see bounces
00:23back and forth, or we just to see a decided momentum where Resache goes from now minus 480
00:28to 550 to 7 to 1 and higher at that point? Honestly, it depends on if Shams or Woj start
00:36dropping bombs and moving markets. This reminds me of, I think it was two years ago when I was
00:41on with Ben and it was the whole thing with Ben Carroll. It was all over the place and it was
00:47moving by the minute. So to me, I still think it's Resache. Ben and I have tickets on Resache,
00:53so we damn well want it to be Resache, but you never know. To me, I don't believe the Alex Sarr
00:59conversation. I think that's a smokescreen by Atlanta to try and get Washington to trade up
01:05to get to the number one pick because they know that's where Sarr wants to go. So I think they're
01:10calling their bluff. At the end of the day, I do think it's Resache. Klingon is a consideration,
01:16but like I said, there still could be a trade that could change everything about the draft.
01:21We see it annually in the NFL draft. Odds can shift as close to about 30 minutes before we
01:27get underway and team selecting number one is on the clock. We have seen it the past two years
01:34in the NBA draft. In 2022, it was ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski that came out and said
01:40Paolo Bencarroll is going first overall. When everybody had slotted in Jabari Smith to be that
01:45first overall pick, then that kind of got rebuked only to be Paolo right before the draft closes
01:52around a minus 2,000 favorite. Last year, it was the Sham Sharani tweet about Scoot Henderson being
01:59in strong consideration to go second overall to Charlotte. It ended up being Brandon Miller. It
02:06moves these markets because draft positions are based on speculation and report. It is not
02:12quantifiable. It makes it volatile, but oh, so much fun to bet. Outside of number one, JY,
02:19as you look at the favorite player to go either one through ten, what is your other best bet in
02:25the top ten of the 2024 NBA draft? I like Castle at four going to San Antonio. I think you look
02:33at that roster and you look at the fact of Trey Jones and they need a point guard. They need a
02:39defender, a guy that can push the pace and be young and develop with that core, obviously led
02:46by Victor Wabiyama. So out of all of them, it's Castle who has now moved to a minus money favorite.
02:52He was plus money yesterday. So I think Castle is the one I'm most comfortable with in that slot.
02:59But like I said, a lot of things could happen in the next ten hours.
