00:02 - The Knicks have to survive that first 12 minute punch,
00:06 that thunderous haymaker punch that they threw on Sunday
00:11 in the field house that the game was over.
00:13 It was 34 to 11, it was over.
00:15 You knew it was over.
00:17 I watched the entire game suffering.
00:19 It was the worst thing of bloodletting.
00:21 But I think tonight that first quarter will dictate,
00:25 frankly for me, the game.
00:28 Honestly, Pharrell, you know what it sounds like?
00:31 Last night between Denver and Minnesota.
00:34 Denver just had to survive the first 12 minutes.
00:37 They go down 17 points at the end of the first quarter,
00:41 game is over because here's what's gonna happen, folks.
00:44 If New York can keep the game close,
00:46 or even have the lead after the first quarter,
00:48 especially through the first half,
00:49 what you may start to see is a young team
00:52 in a spot for the first time start to panic.
00:56 If you are the Knicks, there's a phrase that we call,
01:00 it's called shorting the game.
01:01 Slow the game down, play it half court,
01:06 get it at your tempo, minimize the possessions.
01:10 Take the crowd out of the game.
01:12 And the longer that New York can stay in the game, Pharrell,
01:16 the more likely the Knicks are gonna steal it.
01:19 To me, I don't think Indiana wins this game close.
01:22 They win it going away by 15 or more,
01:25 or the Knicks win a close game in Indiana.
