ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶದ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಹುದ್ದೆ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಕ ಒತ್ತಡ ಶುರುವಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಿಎಂ ಆಪ್ತ ಬಳಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸಚಿವರು ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಹುದ್ದೆ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಬೇಕು, ಸಮುದಾಯವಾರು, ಪ್ರದೇಶವಾರು ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಹುದ್ದೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬರ್‌ 2 ಆಗಿರುವ ಡಿಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್‌ ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
