MOLOCH, 25, lead singer of death metal band: Bible Belt Massacre, describes his intense and unique look as 'dark, edgy and extra'. This style takes influences from death metal & mall goth aesthetics, which has been Moloch's style since he was 11 years old. Moloch told Transformed: "My style kind of developed because, when I was younger, my mom and uncle raised me on old school Misfits, 80's hair metal like Poison and Motley Crue. So from a young age I knew exactly what I wanted to be." Moloch has become a larger than life character on stage which has created a huge following for him and his band. However, not all of the attention Moloch's look attracts has been positive. He said: "I get judged all the time, harassed in public, people yelling slurs, people trying to nonchalantly take pictures of me, but the way I deal with it is by posing for those pictures... I'll mess with them right back." Today, with the help of makeup artist Pucci, Moloch is surprising his bandmates and girlfriend by transforming from death metal goth to a Coachella inspired 'normie!' But how will his band mates react? Will they ever let Moloch back on stage with them? Or will they accept this brand new lead singer?

00:00If I could summarize my look in a few words, dark, edgy, extra.
00:05Today, I'm going from a goth metal look to a Coachella look and I do believe my bandmates are going to hate it.
00:13When I think of Coachella style, I think of everything I'm not.
00:17Oh my god, my bandmates are going to freak out.
00:22I wonder if my girlfriend will still kiss me.
00:24Yo.
00:27Man, it's awful.
00:31Hi.
00:34Nice to meet you, I'm Poochie.
00:36Moloch, nice to meet you.
00:37Nice to meet you, you're looking really cool.
00:38Thank you, thank you.
00:39I love it.
00:40You ready to do this?
00:41Let's go.
00:42Alright.
00:43My name is Moloch Massacre, lead singer of Bible Belt Massacre.
00:45I would describe my style as a hodgepodge of elements of punk, 80s, glam, definitely mixed in with 90s mall goth culture.
00:57The key elements of my look, definitely the 80s glam hair, you know, mix it up, look like Nikki Sixx a little bit.
01:03You gotta have spiky lips.
01:05If you're not doing spiky lips, you're not metal, just saying.
01:08Fishnets, very important.
01:10When you're on stage, you know, hiking your leg up, wind in the air, it looks great.
01:14The closer you look to a Final Fantasy video game character, the better.
01:17Basically, just a bunch of edgy stuff with a goth umbrella.
01:20Just monochrome craziness.
01:23So today we're doing a makeover to make me a normie.
01:28We're gonna put me in some normal clothes and get my band's reaction, my girlfriend's reaction, and we'll see what happens.
01:35So we're going for a very natural Coachella look.
01:39Really tropical, really cool, LA-ish.
01:41We're gonna go in for a natural brow, make him look glowy, not real pale, more so toned.
01:47I'll just clean him up, make him look really nice.
01:49Hey, Moloch.
01:51Alright.
01:54Oh God, I'm nervous.
01:57You feelin' me?
01:58I think it'll be exciting.
01:59You wanna take your contacts out now?
02:01Sure.
02:02Alright, so I'm gonna start taking off your makeup.
02:07I think it's really a craft, though, that you guys can really customize your makeup and do this.
02:12Like, you have to have skills to even pull off a creative look like this.
02:17My style kind of developed because when I was younger, my mom and my uncle raised me on old-school misfits,
02:24noir, 80s hair metal, like Poison and Motley Crue and stuff like that.
02:28And from a young age, I knew exactly what I wanted to look like.
02:32Are you nervous about, like, your look afterwards?
02:35Oh, yes.
02:36I haven't seen myself look normal since I was a child.
02:39I don't even know if I'm gonna recognize myself, honestly.
02:43I don't think I've ever worn clothes that are normal, per se, because even when I was younger,
02:49there's, like, yearbook photos of me wearing, like, Slipknot and Slayer shirts when I was, you know, 6, 7, 8 years old.
02:56I refused to wear, like, shorts or blue jeans or anything like that.
03:00I got into the whole darker style around the time I was 11, I'd say.
03:06That's when I finally convinced my mom to let me get piercings.
03:10She told me I could get...
03:11A lip pierce.
03:12One lip piercing.
03:13I came back with no pore.
03:17So, this is a primer, and pretty much what this is gonna do is it's gonna seal your pores,
03:22and it'll grip whatever that I put on your face.
03:25And so now, I pretty much go in with a translucent powder.
03:29It's just gonna take away that moisture by your brows, and it'll be easier for me to draw your brows on.
03:37What kind of judgments do you get for your look?
03:40Oh, I get judgment all the time.
03:42You know, harassment in public, people yelling slurs.
03:46You get the usual, Halloween isn't till October.
03:49You get people, you know, trying to nonchalantly take pictures on their phones or something like that.
03:55And every time I notice somebody taking a picture and they're trying to hide it, I'll pose.
03:59Like, I'll pose for the camera, and I'll wait and see them look down at their phone and then look surprised
04:03and look up at me and put their head down.
04:05I love it. I mess with people right back.
04:10What made you want to transform yourself into this Coachella look?
04:14I go to a lot of festivals and stuff, and I see a lot of the whole festival style,
04:19and I see something that's, like, completely opposite of me.
04:22And I just kind of, you know, wondered what I would look like with that style.
04:26When I think of Coachella, I think of Hawaiian shirts, tan shorts, candy bracelets, stuff like that.
04:33Everything I'm not.
04:34Who are you revealing this look to?
04:36I'm revealing it to my girlfriend and my bandmate.
04:39How do you think they'll react?
04:41They're going to die laughing, first off.
04:43And then I do believe my girlfriend might be a little scared.
04:46My band, our look is essentially what I'm wearing.
04:49It's all dark aesthetic.
04:50We all have influences rooted in the 90s, like, nu metal scene.
04:56It's definitely not a show for the faint of heart.
05:00All right, models, we are all done. You can now put on your outfit.
05:03All right, let's do it.
05:07Wow.
05:08So how about we put the hair up? I think that would be a nice look.
05:11Place the hat on.
05:13Nice.
05:15I think I'm going to feel extremely uncomfortable, honestly.
05:19Like, I don't know if I'm going to recognize who I'm looking at.
05:22Are you ready to see your look now?
05:24Yeah.
05:25All right, here we go.
05:26Yeah.
05:27All right, here we go.
05:28One, two, three.
05:32Oh, my God.
05:36This does not even look like me.
05:40Oh, my God.
05:43Oh, man.
05:44You did a great job. I'm terrified.
05:47I think you look amazing.
05:48It's definitely a transformation.
05:50Oh, yeah. Huge transformation.
05:53The clothes I had on before, that feels like clothes.
05:55This feels like a costume to me.
05:57This feels like a Halloween costume.
05:59I hate the shirt. I hate the shorts.
06:01I hate the normal shoes.
06:03Just the hat.
06:05I'd take my fishnets and leather bag.
06:08My bandmates are going to freak out.
06:11I wonder if my girlfriend will still kiss me.
06:14I have never seen him not wearing anything but Gotham metal.
06:18I've seen him with no makeup on, but still, I've never seen him with no tattoos.
06:25I definitely like his current style.
06:27It's definitely very representing of his character.
06:30It would be very odd to see him dressed in any other sort of way.
06:35If he were to look different, I would still love him.
06:38I wouldn't leave him.
06:39That would be pretty shallow.
06:46You have eyebrows now.
06:49That's a joke.
06:54You're turning purple.
06:56Man, it's awful.
07:02I'm just too disturbed to even say anything.
07:05I don't like looking at you. It's really weird.
07:07I can't even make eye contact with you. It's so weird.
07:11I'm scared to look away.
07:14The eyebrows are the worst part about it.
07:16It's so weird.
07:18Is this going to work for the band?
07:20You're fired.
07:24I want to do this for the exact reaction you guys just gave.
07:27That's beautiful.
07:28You still love me?
07:29Yes, I still love you.
07:30She still loves me. You see that?
07:33What did you think of everyone's reaction?
07:35Their reaction is definitely what I expected and what I wanted, honestly.
07:39Because if they were to get all emotional and be like,
07:42and be like,
07:43Oh, you look so good.
07:44I'd be like, okay, what's wrong with them?
07:45Nothing about this is me in the slightest.
07:48Do you think you would be welcome on stage with your band in this new look?
07:52I believe I'd be welcome.
07:53I believe they would be laughing.
07:56But yeah, I don't think I'll be doing that.
07:59The only thing I've pretty much taken away is
08:02it's always fun to try new stuff,
08:04even if you really, really, really, really, really, really,
08:08I mean, really don't like the way it looks.
08:11If you're metal, keep dressing metal.
08:13Don't change.
08:17Anything else you want to say?
08:21If you don't follow my band, you're probably lame.
08:23I don't make the rules.
08:24Sorry.
