A HEAVILY modified tattoo artist is going back to basics. Becky Buczek, 29, from Cornwall, UK, first got into alternative fashion when she was 11 years old and her look has continuously evolved since then. Becky got her first tattoo at the age of 18 and has now between 50% to 70% body coverage, including ones on her face, as well as 15 piercings and ears stretched to 50mm. Becky told Truly: “My style is swampy goth with a little bit of glam. It started when I was 11 when I first got into alternative music, and then it slowly evolved from then.” Becky has been referred to as a ‘swamp witch’ in her town and said: “I definitely stick out in town. Yeah, definitely. I get funny looks. I get weird comments. I'm all for the attention. I love it.” So how will Becky feel about a makeup artist covering up her tattoos, mullett and removing her piercings? How will she react to an outfit that makes her fit right in locally rather than stand out? Shocked by her reflection, Becky said: “It’s made me realise how much nicer I look, how I usually look. I could never ever tone down my look because I feel like this makes me look absolutely ridiculous. I’m just not made for it.”
