00:00A monster ship of the China Coast Guard was spotted near the BRP Sierra Madre in Iungin Shoal.
00:07It also approached the so-called Shoal which is also included in the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Philippines.
00:12This is the news brought to you by Ivan Mayrina.
00:21A week after the confrontation between the Philippine Navy and the China Coast Guard in Iungin Shoal,
00:25the China Coast Guard 5901 was spotted near the BRP Sierra Madre.
00:30It was reported as a monster ship and one of their biggest ships.
00:34According to maritime security expert, Ray Powell,
00:37the ship was spotted next as it approached the so-called Shoal where the BRP is located in Magbanwa.
00:44The inflatable boats of PCG and CCG were also seen there.
00:49This is China Sea.
00:51The Chinese Foreign Ministry urged the Philippines to stop its invasion
00:56and help China for the peace in the South China Sea.
01:00The international community is being misled by the Philippines.
01:05China used to see the CCG in Iungin Shoal in June 17.
01:11Even in that incident,
01:13the CCG of the Shoal and other evidence of the Philippine soldiers can be seen in the video.
01:19The same goes for the smuggling, stealing, and drilling of the Philippine inflatable boats.
01:26At one point,
01:27a Chinese inflatable boat was seen chasing a Philippine ship.
01:32The two ships almost collided.
01:37The government still does not consider it an armed attack under the Mutual Defense Treaty that happened on June 17.
01:42But they also do not consider it a misunderstanding or an accident.
01:46We are not downplaying the incident.
01:49It was an aggressive and illegal use of force.
01:52The definition of armed attack is the use of military force,
01:57an excessive mass use of force that could trigger collective self-defense.
02:02Even in the Article 51 of the UN Charter and MDT,
02:08they do not force the definition of armed attack.
02:11The President also did not approve the recommendation of the National Maritime Council
02:14to announce regular RORE missions.
02:17The President has reiterated that we will not publish schedules of any RORE.
02:24But the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said
02:26that there was no arrest of their Chinese counterpart since the incident of June 17.
02:31The peaceful means, yes.
02:33It does not disappear.
02:34We are also doing something on the diplomatic front.
02:37We have a mechanism that has been in existence for quite a number of years.
