01:26When her father passed away when she was 10 years old, her mother-in-law took the responsibility.
01:30She was very eager to study at home since she was a child.
01:36With the encouragement of her mother-in-law, she studied in Telugu.
01:39She got 108 marks in 7 minutes.

03:01So, I joined PG in Nizamabad College.
03:04We worked in COVID for the first two years.
03:09I was saddened by the COVID cases.
03:15Many people died in our homes.
03:18My HOD, Mr. Nagarjuna Chari, encouraged me to do research on COVID.
03:27I took the thesis on COVID with the hope that it will be useful for many people.
03:35Ms. Uma Devi did her PhD as a pathologist and did research on COVID.
03:40She gave a paper presentation in Telangana State Chapter about the research on COVID.
03:45She got the first award.
03:47She became more enthusiastic about the research.
03:49She worked on AI and machine learning.
03:53She has been working on nanotechnology for the past two years.
04:00Dr. Sandeep and Dr. Samhita were doing research on COVID.
04:05I did more research and collected more cases with their encouragement.

05:45So, I also went to Turkey and presented it.
05:49ECS was held in San Francisco, California from May 26 to May 30 this year.
05:55In the Electrochemical Society program, scientists from all over the world submit their research to ECS.
06:02They also submitted their research on cholesterol detection, graphene, and drug delivery systems to ECS.
06:09The Indian government provided financial support to ECS for this purpose.
06:14So, with the same enthusiasm, I went to ECS. ECS stands for Electrochemical Society.
06:19So, Electrochemical Society is a place where scientists from all over the world come to meet us.
06:28They share their ideas and new techniques.
06:32I also presented the work that we did there.
06:36Like, how to detect cholesterol in chicken samples, how graphene is used in medicine,
06:42how it is affecting the body, how it is used biologically, how it is used in drug delivery systems,
06:48how it is used in implantable devices, we did all of these.
06:51I have to say that it was a good experience.
06:53It is difficult to say that I went all the way to America.
06:57But the Government of India, Science and Engineering Research Board,
07:01and the Department of Science and Technology gave me full funding.
07:04From visa application, conference registration, to travel tickets, they supported me completely.
07:10The participants from Europe and America got the opportunity only from Dr. Uma Devi.
07:16Apart from this, at the Israel International Conference,
07:19she gave a speech on the topic of TeraHeads Imaging for Detection of Breast Cancer.
07:24In Spain, IEEE NANO 2024 participants were invited.
07:28In Canada, World Molecular participants were invited.
07:31Many doctors are changing their approach to research.
07:35Only patients are seen, patients are treated, or lab investigations are done.
07:40We are still in the process of finding new topics,
07:44new drugs, new diseases, or various other things.
07:50The interest in research has reduced a little.
07:53With the facilities we have, she showed her interest in research.
07:59In the past three years, many papers have been presented.
08:02She was recognized internationally at the AIIMS conference.
08:09Along with medicine, she is also interested in research.
08:12During the COVID-19 pandemic, she did research on two topics,
08:16and was presented at the national level.
08:18Similarly, she presented an international research article.
08:25We are very proud of Nizamabad.
08:31In the third year of MBBS,
08:33Pratibha, who was presented by Uma Devi,
08:35was awarded the Savitri Bhai Poole Award.
08:37So far, she has won 10 patent rights from the Indian government for her research.
