00:00You are reuniting with Yorgos from working on The Favourite.
00:03This is your first time working with Yorgos.
00:05How would you describe him as a director?
00:08And was there any note that he gave you throughout this process
00:11or your process working with him before that really stuck with you?
00:15A little less, no. I mean, he did say that once.
00:19He's a master. He's very specific. He's very honest.
00:23He's very clear. He's candid. And he's sincere.
00:26And you see that in his work.
00:27It's not just, you know, wildly entertaining and just crazy for crazy's sake.
00:34It's specific and it's real investigation.
00:37Yeah, he's one of a kind.
00:38And if you get to work with people like that, you feel very, very lucky.
00:42He's, you know, a very singular director.
00:45He makes bold, challenging, provocative films.
00:48And I think we all just felt lucky to be a part of this for sure.
00:52I know, Joe, for you, you're also reuniting with Emma on this film
00:55from working with her on The Favourite.
00:57What was it like reuniting?
00:58And I know a lot of people felt that chemistry in the last film.
01:00So what was it like kind of tackling this project together?
01:03It was the best.
01:04It's always nice to return to working with people that you know.
01:07And Emily is no different to that.
01:10Emily and Yorgos and Robbie Ryan, to see the same faces.
01:13Again, there's familiarity there.
01:15There's trust. There's friendship.
01:17It makes a big difference.
01:18And it's really, really lovely.
01:20Sure. And finally, I wanted to say, I know for part of our THR review
01:24you called this film balls-to-the-walls strangeness.
01:27So what would, for both of you, balls-to-the-walls strangeness.
01:33So what would you say, for each of you,
01:36was probably the wildest or strangest scene in this film?
01:42The wildest or strangest?
01:43I mean, there's so many.
01:44There's too many.
01:45There's a couple.
01:46Pick one that sticks out to you the most.
01:48Joe's character in the second story.
01:52That was one of my favorite scenes when I read it and shot it.
01:55That's a weird scene.
01:56But fun. Kind of the weirder, the funner to do.
01:59Yeah, always.
02:00Yeah.
02:01Not Willem Dafoe in the orange Speedo, perhaps.
02:04Well, that was great to see it.
02:06Great to see it.
