'Hacks' star Jean Smart is urging networks to forgo airing upcoming Hollywood awards shows and donate to the victims and firefighters of the L.A. wildfires instead. Smart shared a post on Instagram that reads, "ATTENTION! With ALL due respect, during Hollywood's season of celebration, I hope any of the networks televising the upcoming awards will seriously consider NOT televising them and donating the revenue they would have garnered to victims of the fires and the firefighters."

00:27She didn't name specific award shows or dollar amounts. Among the big upcoming award shows, though,
00:32are the Screen Actors Guild Awards, which are set to stream on Netflix on Sunday,
00:36February 23rd, from the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall, and the Academy Awards,
00:41set to air on ABC from the Dolby Theater on Sunday, March 2nd. Due to the fires,
00:45the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has decided to extend the Oscar nomination voting window,
00:51which began at 9 a.m. Pacific on Wednesday morning and was to have ended at 5 p.m. Pacific on Sunday evening.
00:57Now it will run until 5 p.m. Pacific on Tuesday, January 14th.
01:01The Oscar nominations unveiling has also been pushed back from Friday, January 17th to Sunday, January 19th.
01:08Smart just won her second Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy TV Series for her work in the third season of
01:14the max show, Hacks.
01:16The hit series is among those whose production has been paused due to the blazes in different parts of LA.
