00:00Hello there, this is me Ansh Pandey and you are watching One India English.
00:12The NEET controversy, the exam is leaving no stone unturned to trigger political debates
00:17across India.
00:19As the students continue to protest over the NEET results, the Supreme Court continues
00:23to examine the cause behind this fault and Bihar authorities continue to investigate
00:29this matter.
00:30A new political buzz has erupted on social media that has put RJD, the Bihar party, on
00:37back foot.
00:38Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha has claimed that the aid of opposition
00:44leader Tejasvi Yadav was involved in this alleged paper scam and irregularities that
00:49is surrounding the NEET UG 2024 medical exam test.
00:54Addressing the media today, Sinha stated that on 1st and 4th May, one man named Pritam Kumar
01:01who had served as Tejasvi Yadav's personal secretary when he was the minister contacted
01:06a government employee to book a room for Sikandar Kumar Yadavindu, an engineer who is implicated
01:12in this scam.
01:14The Bihar Deputy Chief Minister came with all sort of evidences on paper and he showed
01:18that to media.
01:19He even stated that he can share them with two.
01:21Pritam Kumar, using the word Mantri Ji which was used when Tejasvi Yadav was minister,
01:26called to book a room for Sikandar Yadavindu, Sinha alleged.
01:30He even demanded that Tejasvi Yadav must clarify that is the man who is accused still now his
01:38personal secretary and explain who Yadavindu is.
01:51Pritam Kumar Yadavindu, who is accused by Sikandar Kumar Yadavindu, is accused by Sikandar
02:17Kumar Yadavindu.
02:18Furthermore, Sinha even claimed that Yadavindu, a junior irrigation department engineer, used
02:39to serve the jailed RJD Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav.
02:45They play with people's future and try to influence appointments when in power, the
02:50Bihar Deputy CM alleged.
02:53One arrested parent claimed Yadavindu also assured success for Rs 40 lakh and provided
02:58the question paper.
03:00Another stated that the quota-based son was assured 100% success by Yadavindu through
03:06his contacts.
03:07Yadavindu has been allegedly confessed to working with touts who promised assured success
03:12in competitive exams for fees like Rs 30-40 lakh per candidate.
03:18These claims follow another confession letter from Yadavindu stating that he arranged accommodation
03:24in Patna for some neat candidates and their associates on the directions of a Mantriji.
03:31This controversy erupted after the neat results with many students alleging irregularities
03:36when 67 students got first rank for the first time in history of independent India.
03:43The Bihar police has arrested approximately 13 people due to this big claim and this irregularity
03:50in the alleged paper leak.
03:53Also this allegation and this revelation has come just a day after when the Allahabad High
03:58Court on Tuesday dismissed a writ petition filed by neat aspirant Ayushi Patel who had
04:05alleged that the National Test Agency failed to declare her result and her OMR sheet was
04:11found torn.
04:12This is the same Ayushi Patel whose video was shared by the Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi.
04:17Meanwhile, the Government of India and NTA are still largely silent over the matter which
04:24actually raises more serious concern about its approach to the matter.
04:29The government didn't even took 48 hours to cancel the UGC-N18 exam but what an irony
04:35that it is still not speaking on the neat exam.
04:38It cannot take a similar approach on this big scam.
04:42This does raises some serious question that is there something more to add to this saga
04:47than we actually know.
