00:00Chuuuut!
00:02Chuuuuut!
00:04Rosy!
00:30Chuuut!
01:00Now, it's all about Rosie and Jim, they're my two ragdolls that I have on the boat, I like to pretend that they come to life
01:07And I get ideas for the stories about them from the things I see as I travel on my boat
01:13What shall I put in my story today?
01:16It's a rainy day today, so I'll begin with that
01:20One rainy day
01:27And then, I'll draw the canal with my two blue pens, like this
01:36And my boat is just here
01:38So, I'll put this picture of it on the book to show the place
01:44And now, I'll be on my way
01:47Oh, what a wet day!
01:49I put my socks out last night to dry and look at them, sopping wet
01:53Oh, dear me
01:55Now, if I look at my book, I might find somewhere with some shops
02:00And hopefully with a laundrette where I can get all my washing done
02:03Well, I'm about here, all the way down here
02:06There's a place where some boats cross the canal
02:08I'm sure there's some shops there
02:11Back to the van, start the engine
02:13And off I go
02:15Wow, what a hot day!
02:17Well, there it is, my little boat
02:19And by the way, I'll get the boat to the conclave
02:21So, if I look at my book, it's there
02:24Now, I'll be looking for a place to eat
02:26I'll find something to eat
02:28I'll go to the local restaurant
02:30Because there's nothing here
02:31And I'm going to try to find something to eat
02:36What a lovely day!
02:38I've been on the canal for three days
02:41Quack quack quack quack
02:45Thanks duck!
02:47We're moving Rosie!
02:49Where are we going to Jim?
02:51Think I'm off here, see?
02:53Back somewhere with a laundrette.
02:59Yes, Scott said we're going down the canal that way to find a laundrette so we can wash our washing.
03:04No Rosie, it's too wet!
03:07Look at all the rain!
03:09Play the slider in the rain
03:13Quack quack quack quack
03:15Play the slider in the rain
03:17Quack quack quack quack
03:19Set your shoes up, wet your toes
03:21Quack quack quack quack
03:23Get your panties ready and out
03:25We'll shelter till the sun comes out
03:27Quack quack quack quack
03:29Rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain
03:31I'm throwing the rain, Rosie!
03:33I'm throwing the rain, Rosie!
03:35Look Jim, we've got so much dirty washing our basket's full!
03:39It's alright Rosie!
03:41There's plenty of room in here, just wash it down a bit.
03:44No!
03:46Poo!
03:48Pong!
03:56Is it long or is it strong, this pongy old song?
04:03Nobody knows!
04:11But they do!
04:13Yes they do!
04:15Like a star!
04:17In the sky!
04:19Pong!
04:21Pong!
04:33I'm laundering now.
04:37See if I can find a good place to get it washed to launder it.
04:49Quack!
04:51Hey Rosie!
04:53These are a lot of pongy old clothes!
04:55Let's go and wash them with Fizz Go!
04:57Yeah!
05:00What a day!
05:02Hello!
05:04My name's John.
05:06How do you do?
05:08Nice to meet you.
05:10Well, I've got a lot of washing,
05:12and the trouble is, I've never used the washing machine before.
05:14I'm having a lot of work this evening.
05:16I'll be glad to help you then.
05:18Oh, that's nice of you.
05:20Is it green there?
05:22Yes, a whole lot.
05:24I'm sorry about the smell.
05:26It's OK.
05:28I've been setting it up a long time, you know.
05:30Right.
05:32Thank you very much.
05:34What next?
05:36Now then, do you want it on a hot wash, or a warm wash?
05:38I don't know.
05:40What do you recommend?
05:42I think warm would be the best.
05:44So that it doesn't shrink.
05:46And you also need your soap here.
05:52Oh, just a minute, before you start.
05:54I think I might have forgotten something.
05:56Can I have another?
05:58Yes, go ahead.
06:04There's dogs in there.
06:06What?
06:08Oh, I forgot my towels.
06:10Do you mind keeping an eye on it?
06:12I won't be long.
06:14I'll rush back to the boat.
06:16It's still raining.
06:22This is the laundrette gym.
06:25Yes.
06:27Come on.
06:31Somebody's looking.
06:35Is that a television, Rosie?
06:37I don't like these programs.
06:39It makes me go all dizzy with it.
06:41That's not a television, Noggin.
06:43It's got all clothes inside of it.
06:47Oh, well why do they go rowdy, rowdy, rowdy?
06:51Well, it's got to whiz out all the dirt, silly.
06:55Oh.
06:57Whizzy, whizzy, washing day.
06:59Whizzing all the dirt away.
07:01Put them in and take them out.
07:03Turn the trousers inside out.
07:09Hey.
07:11It looks good.
07:13Put our washing in.
07:15With his washing.
07:17Hey, Jim, I've got your smelly sock here.
07:21Hey, don't forget your...
07:23Tickle.
07:27Oh, the sock.
07:29Oh, Rosie, the dog's coming.
07:35Hello.
07:37I've got it.
07:39It's still pouring outside.
07:41This is the lot now.
07:43That's everything you should want?
07:45Absolutely everything, yes.
07:47Let's start it off now.
07:53And you need a £1 coin.
07:55£1 coin.
07:57£1 coin.
07:59£1 coin.
08:05Whizzy, whizzy, whizzy washing day.
08:07Hurry up and we can go and play.
08:15I think they're finished.
08:17Let's see if we can get them out.
08:19Collect lots of nice, lovely, clean washing.
08:23Hmm?
08:25That looks a bit small.
08:27Where's the other one?
08:29Good gracious.
08:31What's happened?
08:33Hey, he's got your sock.
08:35No, he hasn't.
08:37Oh, he has.
08:39Help.
08:41Joe, Joe, can you help, please?
08:43Something happened to my washing.
08:45It shrunk. I think the water must have been too hot.
08:47That's it.
08:57Come on, Jim. All our washing's clean now.
09:03Thank you very much.
09:05Look at my washing.
09:07What's wrong with it?
09:09It's shrunken. Tiny.
09:11There's nothing wrong with that one.
09:13Well, it's another one.
09:16No, I think they're all right.
09:18Yeah, they look OK.
09:24Well, it's stopped raining,
09:26so there's a chance for my washing to get dry now,
09:28especially as the wind's started to blow a bit.
09:30But, you know,
09:32there are two mysteries about this washing trip of mine.
09:34The first was
09:36that things shrunk very small
09:38and now they've grown to normal size again.
09:40Look at my sock.
09:42The second mystery is
09:44that there's only one sock hanging there.
09:46I took my favourite pair of red socks to the laundry
09:48and now I've only got one.
09:50I don't know what's happened to the other one.
09:52Rosie, look at this sock.
09:54It's got all big.
09:56Yes, the whizzy washer's stretched it.
09:58It won't fit on my little feet now.
10:00No.
10:02Anyway, there's only one sock here.
10:04Oh.
10:06And socks usually come in pairs, don't they?
10:08Like this.
10:10One, two. Two socks.
10:12But Jim,
10:14one hat would do.
10:16That's nearly big enough to be a hat.
10:18Because I've only got one head.
10:20One head.
10:28What's that doing there?
10:30It's my sock.
10:32What are you doing with my sock, eh?
10:36It is
10:38my favourite red sock.
10:40I'll put that back.
10:46Oh, Rosie,
10:48it was Fizzgog's sock.
10:50Here we are.
10:52My favourite red pair of socks
10:54back together again.
10:56Nice and clean and the right size.
11:02What a funny old day it's been today.
11:06Oh, look at that, he's coming.
11:10I have
11:12lots of ideas now for my
11:14Rosie and Jim stories.
11:16And now
11:18I'm going to write in my book
11:20the story all about Rosie and Jim
11:22and what they would have got up to
11:24if they could have come to life today.
11:26One rainy day,
11:28Rosie
11:30and Jim
11:32were going along
11:34in their boat.
11:36And there was such a pong.
11:39What's that pong, said Jim?
11:41It's your dirty sock, said Rosie.
11:43It's jumped out. Quick, catch it!
11:45It went this way and that way.
11:47And Rosie and Jim ran after it.
11:49They couldn't catch it.
11:57No wonder there's a pong, said Rosie.
12:01Our basket's full of pongy, dirty washing.
12:03They went to the laundrette
12:05and pushed all their dirty socks
12:07and dickers and things
12:09in a washing machine.
12:11They went whizzy-whizzy round and round
12:13and came out clean.
12:15But
12:17some were much too little
12:19and some were much too big
12:21and Jim still only had one red sock.
12:23Back on the boat,
12:25Duck had a new hat,
12:27a funny hat,
12:29a pongy red hat.
12:31Nice sock, said Jim.
12:33He popped it in the sink
12:35and washed it clean and hung it out to dry
12:37next to his other sock.
12:39Back together at last.
12:41A nice, clean pair
12:43of red socks, said Jim.
12:45About time, said Rosie.
12:47Rosie!
12:53Rosie and Jim, Rosie and Jim
12:55Tucked in the pongy old hat.
12:58I'm off now to see what I can find
13:00to make a new story for next time.
13:02So I'll say goodbye.
13:04Goodbye!
