00:07in Phoenix was up, and then the Detroit Pistons took him on, signed him to a long-term contract,

00:16New GM Trajan Langdon just basically decides to part ways with his coach, wants to pick

00:22his own guy.

00:28Meanwhile, Pascal Siakam ends up signing a four-year, $189.5 million contract to return

00:34to the Indiana Pacers.

01:22Monty Williams, who has five years left and $65 million owed, was let go today by Trajan

01:29Trajan Langdon is now running the basketball operations for the Detroit Pistons.

01:34Reason being is, number one, Trajan wants to be able to hire his own coach.

01:37Also, you have to look at, this team is in a critical stage with Jalen Durant, with Cade

01:43Cunningham, with Jaden Ivey.

01:45They have to start to make a move here, a team that I thought was going to be much better

01:49with Monty Williams.

01:50The lack of development of some of those players has led to this dismissal.
