00:00We begin with our top story of the day, as Connecticut's head coach is staying put. Dan Hurley makes it official yesterday that he is turning down the Lakers offer of six years, $70 million. It would have made him one of the NBA's six highest paid coaches, but ultimately he stayed put and now has a chance to pursue a third title at Connecticut. Hurley also had an offer from UConn to become one of the highest paid coaches.
00:30According to several published reports, at UConn, over six seasons, his record is 141-58, already won a couple of championships there.
00:39And now the Lakers are going to have to figure out who they want as their next head coach.
00:43James Borrego is probably going to be part of the final group, as he's already interviewed, and maybe J.J. Redick actually gets an interview.
00:50We've been hearing rumors that he is potentially a candidate for the job as well.
