00:00In the traditionally beer-brewing nation of Belgium, a new rival has emerged, France.
00:07Over the last ten years, French brewers have been increasing their production while their
00:11products gain popularity in Belgium.
00:13I drink it because its taste is different from what we can find at home. I find it fresh
00:20with a little taste of lemon. It reminds me of white wine.
00:23A particular favorite is the beer made by Baron Brewery in Guissignies, located just
00:28a few kilometers from the border.
00:31Thousands of bottles leave the French brewery each year, ten percent of which are destined
00:36for Belgium. But according to one Belgian brewery, the flow of beer is going both ways.
00:58So swap your wine glasses for pints, because France could well become a nation of beer lovers.
