We take a look around Leigh Spinners Mill ahead of the Grand Opening, as executive trustee Paul Costello, details the celebration event and how the building is used. With a variety of businesses, artists, groups and community spaces, showcasing what they do.

00:00I'm Paul Costello, I'm the executive trustee at Lee Spinner's Mill, which is the working
00:05arm of Lee Building Preservation Trust. We're at the mill at the moment outside of the cinema.
00:10This weekend we're going to launch our open day where we're going to have five floors
00:13all open with over 80 independent businesses. So it's been built for the people of Lee to
00:19come and enjoy different activities. There's makers market, there's musical events, there's
00:24poetry, there's everything you can think of that's happening in the mill and you can visit
00:27every unit, every unit will be open. So we hope people come down and really enjoy themselves
00:31at the mill. So the tennis we've got here, so we have different floors on us. The second
00:35floor is our sports floor which is full of gyms, archery and table tennis. The third
00:42floor is our commercial floor so we've got vintage toys, supernatural diaries, baby room,
00:50a vinyl record shop, a craft bar which will all be open on Saturday. And the fourth floor
00:56is the floor we're on now, it's a creative floor with 20 artists of various forms of
01:01art forms. We've got an art gallery, we've got a drama studio, we've got a computer museum
01:06and we've got a cinema. And the fifth floor is more in art, new floors open up there and
01:10it's kind of a digital kind of skills networking floor and we've got somebody manufacturing
01:17honey, we've got an event person up there, we've got a recruitment agency going up there
01:22and there's various others moving into the floor five.
