00:00I actually predict that the number one question that recruiters are going to start asking
00:03candidates is, how are you using AI in your personal life and how are you using it at
00:07work?
00:08And you need to have a really good answer for that.
00:10But the future of work is still human, right?
00:14And so I think that the number one thing the candidates have to think about is, yes, bone
00:17up on your AI skills, start to play with AI tools, because it's going to be important.
00:21AI is here to stay.
00:22But the number one most in-demand skills on our in-demand skills list was communication
00:28followed by then we're talking about adaptability.
00:31People want to hire folks who can pivot and not panic, right?
00:36And so your people skills and those human skills are going to be really important just
00:41as much as having AI skills and playing around with AI tools.
00:45But I will say, I don't want to undersell how important AI is going to be in the future.
00:51We saw in our most recent data that 71% of executives said that they would hire someone
00:57with less experience if they had AI skills.
01:01That's a big thing to say.
01:03Less experience, but they have AI skills.
01:05I'll take the AI skills person over that person with more experience.
01:10That's really telling.
01:11And if you are thinking about how do I get those AI skills, do things like LinkedIn Learning
01:16has tons of AI courses, many of them for free that you can take and start learning that
01:21language.
01:22But there are also companies on our most recent top companies list where the companies are
01:27saying we know that AI is important.
01:29We want to give you a sort of easy entree into learning AI skills.
01:34So companies like AT&T and Verizon are doing things like having hackathons or they created
01:39their own AI tools to let employees like play around with them.
01:43And so companies are thinking, even if you don't have those skills, we're going to help
01:47you get them.
01:48And that's how important it is.
