00:13 Cineclassics was held at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila as part of the programs for Independence Day 2024.

00:23 The films released here are about the heroes of the country

00:29 and the hardships they went through to achieve our independence.

00:33 One of the films was the film "Bonifacio, the First President"

00:38 directed by Senator Robin Padilla and directed by Director Enzo Williams.

00:43 This film shows the life and struggle of Andres Bonifacio to achieve our independence.

00:50 It is very important for everyone to know their history,

00:54 what our heroes went through, what our heroes fought for,

01:01 so they can appreciate the freedom we enjoy.

01:04 The director of the film is Director Enzo Williams.

01:08 He said this was a way for the youth to get to know Bonifacio better.

01:13 Many people know his name, but only a few know what he did for the country.

01:20 He said he made this film for the next generation.
