00:00A man in Manila has been arrested for molesting a child.

00:05The suspect admitted that he approached the child but did nothing wrong.

00:15A 30-year-old tricycle driver was jailed for molesting a 12-year-old child.

00:22The suspect is a member of a gang from Santa Cruz, Manila.

00:26According to the police investigation, the incident took place in Panoluca, Antipolo, and Makata Streets in Santa Cruz, Manila at 11.30 this Monday.

00:35A fishbowl was bought by the victim when the suspect approached the child in his tricycle.

00:40The suspect said that the child was with him because his grandfather was confined in a hospital in Tondo.

00:46When he arrived in a dark area in Antipolo Street in Santa Cruz, Manila, he molested the child.

00:55After that, he threatened the child with a sharp object.

01:01When the child confronted his mother, he threatened to kill her.

01:05The victim told his family that he immediately asked for help from the police.

01:10In the follow-up operation of Santa Cruz Police Station, the suspect was arrested in a tricycle.

01:15The suspect denied the crime.

01:18I didn't plan it. I was embarrassed by the child, but I didn't pursue it.

01:24Because that day, I was also drunk.

01:28She didn't like it. She called me brother. I was just surprised. I didn't pursue it.

01:33The suspect admitted that he used marijuana on the day of the incident.

01:37He also said that the child's mother was angry with him because of his relationship with her.

01:43He bought a tricycle from his father.

01:47We were fighting.

01:49Maybe so that he could get his motorcycle, he just made a scenario like that.

01:54He just wanted to separate me. I don't want to be separated from him.

02:00GMA Integrated News tried to get the mother of the victim to confess, but she refused.

02:05The suspect was imprisoned in the detention facility of Santa Cruz Police Station.
